We join you in lifting this heavy burden before the Lord, for He alone is the source of true wisdom and clarity. The weight of managing your husband’s affairs—his business, writings, pension, and legacy—is not one you were meant to carry alone. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* The Lord sees every detail of your situation, and He promises to direct your steps when you surrender them to Him.
We also recognize the emotional toll this season has taken on you. Grief and responsibility can feel like an unbearable load, but Jesus invites you in Matthew 11:28-30, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* He does not expect you to have all the answers today. Instead, He calls you to walk with Him one step at a time, trusting that He will provide the wisdom and favor you need in each moment.
We pray now for divine order in the midst of this complexity. Father, we ask that You would go before her in every office, every meeting, and every decision. Let confusion be replaced with clarity, and let anxiety give way to peace. Grant her discernment to know which tasks to prioritize, which advisors to trust, and which documents to prepare. We declare favor over her in every transaction, that doors would open and that officials would show her kindness and efficiency.
Lord, we also lift up the management of her husband’s legacy. May his works be handled with integrity, and may the decisions she makes honor his memory while securing her future. Protect his pension and royalties according to Your will, and give her the strength to steward these resources wisely. We rebuke any spirit of overwhelm or fear that seeks to paralyze her, and we declare that she will move forward in confidence, knowing You are her guide.
Finally, we pray for her heart. Calm the anxious thoughts that threaten to consume her, and remind her that You are her provider, her defender, and her peace. Help her to rest in Your timing, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust that as she seeks You, You will lead her step by step.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
