We join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord in Jesus' name, and we thank you for calling upon Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find freedom and victory. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We hear your struggle with motivation, with even basic tasks feeling heavy, and with pressure on your business and finances. We want to encourage you that God cares about your work and your diligence, and He also understands the spiritual battle behind discouragement and false beliefs. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 The enemy does attack our minds with lies that we are not able, that we are stuck, that we will fail, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 We rebuke those false beliefs and every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your work, and your finances, and we declare the truth that you can do all things through Christ, who strengthens you. Philippians 4:13 and that you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32
The Word also calls us to faithful stewardship and diligence in our work. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 and Don't be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. Romans 12:11 We encourage you not to despise small beginnings or basic tasks, for God honors faithfulness in little things. He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. Luke 16:10 Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3 The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty. Proverbs 21:5 This reminds us that breakthrough in business is not only a moment of blessing but a walk of consistent, prayerful diligence, planning, and integrity before the Lord.
For your desire to invest and make better decisions, we encourage you to seek wisdom first from God rather than from fear or pressure. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5 We encourage you to bring every financial decision before the Lord, seek godly counsel, avoid hasty or greedy schemes, and remember My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 True freedom is not only financial freedom but freedom in Christ from condemnation, laziness, and fear. If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up our brother before Your throne of grace. We thank You that You see his struggle, his business, his finances, and his heart's desire to be free and to walk in diligence. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says he cannot, that he is defeated, that he is without hope or ability, and we ask You to renew his mind by Your truth and Your Word. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, with power, love and a sound mind, and restore motivation and strength for each day and each task. Help him to commit his work to You, to be fervent in spirit and faithful in small things, and to do all as unto You. Grant him wisdom liberally as he seeks to make decisions and to invest, lead him away from hasty or unwise paths, and guide his steps into what honors You and provides for his needs. Guard his finances from the enemy's attack, provide for him, and teach him to be a faithful steward of all You have entrusted to him. Bring breakthrough according to Your will, and let him experience true freedom in Christ. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our hope and provider, amen.
