We join with you in lifting up this simple and heartfelt cry to the Lord for better days and restful nights, and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
We hear your longing for peace in the daytime and rest at night, and we know that God cares about both. He sees the weariness that can come with each day and the restlessness that can come with each night, and He invites us to bring every need to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Matthew 11:28 also gives us this comfort, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
We take comfort that His mercies are new every morning and His faithfulness watches over us through the night. Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us it is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. And Psalm 4:8 gives us a beautiful promise for the night, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the need for a good day today and a restful night tonight. We ask that You grant peace to the heart and strength for each hour of this day. Guide every step, calm every anxious thought, and let Your joy and presence be felt. And tonight, Father, we ask that You grant deep, peaceful, and restorative sleep. Quiet the mind, still the heart, and let Your protection surround this one through the night. Help us to trust You with both our days and our nights, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep as You watch over Your children. We ask that You make each day a little brighter and each night a little more peaceful as we walk close to You. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Your prayer for a good day and a restful night is precious in the sight of the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.
The Lord knows your need for strength by day and peace by night, and He is the fountain of both. It is written, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. That perfect peace is not found in the absence of trouble, but in the presence of Christ. When duties press and sorrows surge round, to do the will of Jesus is rest, and on His bosom nothing but calm is found. Keep your mind stayed upon Him through this day, and His peace which passeth understanding shall keep your heart.
And for the night, remember the sweet promise, So He giveth His beloved sleep. The sleep of the beloved is the sleep of a quiet conscience made peaceful through the blood of Jesus, the sleep of contentment and of security in His keeping. You may lie down in His care and be at rest, for though the world be full of unrest, His beloved are safe under His watch.
If the day seems too wide a leap for your strength, breathe a prayer as the apostles did, Lord, increase our faith. He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Waiting upon Him in prayer, in His Word, and in simple trust is the way your strength shall be restored as by a cool bath to the weary soul.
We pray for you now. O Lord our God, look upon this weary soul who cries Help me Lord. Grant this day Thy perfect peace within, and this night Thy beloved sleep. Renew strength for the duties of the day and give quiet rest in the night season. Increase faith, calm the restless thoughts, and let the blood of Jesus whisper peace within. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You.
