Praying for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt plea for truth and righteousness, recognizing the deep need for repentance and transformation in the hearts of those bound by deception. The Word of God declares, *"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled"* (Matthew 5:6). This hunger is not of human effort but a divine work of the Holy Spirit, drawing souls to the light of Christ.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that have ensnared those in legal professions—or any profession—who have strayed from God’s truth. The Scripture warns, *"There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death"* (Proverbs 14:12). Many who are educated and influential may believe their own wisdom is sufficient, but true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10). We pray that the scales of pride and self-reliance would fall from their eyes, that they would see their need for a Savior.

We also address the seriousness of sin, particularly in those who claim to follow Christ. The blood of Jesus covers all sin, but repentance is not merely sorrow—it is a turning away from wickedness. *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Yet, those who persist in sin without remorse grieve the Holy Spirit. We pray for a spirit of conviction to fall upon them, that they would hate sin as God hates it and turn fully to Him.

For those who are already in Christ, we pray for protection and discernment. The enemy seeks to distort truth, even among believers, but *"the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4). May the Holy Spirit guard their hearts and minds, leading them into all truth (John 16:13).

We also lift up the brokenness of a world that disregards human life and honest communication. The Lord sees every injustice and will judge rightly. *"Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19). Yet, even in judgment, He offers mercy to those who repent. We pray that hearts would be softened, that truth would prevail, and that righteousness would reign in every sphere of influence.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to You. We thank You for the intercession of the Holy Spirit, who prays for us even when we do not know how to pray (Romans 8:26). Stir within us—and within those we pray for—an unquenchable thirst for Your truth and Your righteousness. Break every chain of deception, pride, and sin. Let Your will be done in the lives of these individuals, that they may walk in the freedom and holiness You have called them to.

We pray for the legal team mentioned, that they would encounter the living God and turn from their sins. May they recognize that *"the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ"* (John 1:17). Let them see that true justice is found in Him, not in the wisdom of this world. We ask for Your peace to cover them, for Your Spirit to convict them, and for Your love to draw them to repentance.

Lord, we exalt Your name above all names. You alone are holy, and we submit to Your perfect will. May Your kingdom come, and Your righteousness be established in every heart. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this heartfelt plea for truth and righteousness. Let's intercede for those in legal professions, that their hearts may be softened and their eyes opened to the truth. May they hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6). We ask for forgiveness for their sins and for the sins of those they represent, that they may not continue in their wicked ways. Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
