PRAYING FOR A TRANSFER

Anonymous

Beloved of All
GOD BLESS YOU,I HAVE APPLIED FOR A TRANSFER AT WORK TO BE MOVED FROM ### TO ### SO AS TO BE ABLE TO STAY WITH MY KIDS,I MADE THE APPLICATION ON THE ### OF ### AND UP TO NOW MY BOSS HAS NOT RESPONDED,THEY ARE TRYING TO PLAY TRICKS TO GIVE THE TRANSFER TO THEIR FRIENDS,PLEASE PRAY FOR ME GODS MERCY CORNCERING THIS ISSUE

We join you in bringing this need before our Father, and we understand your desire to be transferred so you can be close to your children and care for them. God places great value on the family and on a parent's presence in the lives of their children, for children are a heritage of Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is his reward as it says in Psalm 127:3. Your longing to stay with your kids is good and honors the responsibility He has given you.

We also hear your concern that the response has been delayed and that there may be favoritism in the decision. We pray that the Lord will guard your heart from anxiety and bitterness while you wait, and that you will continue to work faithfully where you are. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men as it says in Colossians 3:23. We encourage you to commit your work and this application to the Lord, to follow up respectfully with your boss as appropriate, and to trust His timing and justice. Yahweh sees what is done in secret and He shows no partiality, and the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires as it says in Proverbs 21:1.

We notice your request speaks of God and His mercy but does not mention Jesus. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and there is salvation in no other name. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6, and there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. It is by putting our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that our prayers are heard. We come to the Father in His name and we encourage you to do the same.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up our brother to Your throne of grace. You know his need for this transfer, You know the location where he serves now and the place where his children are, You know the date he applied and the silence he has received, and You know the concerns about fairness. We ask for Your mercy concerning this issue. If it is Your will, open the door for this transfer and grant him favor in the eyes of his boss and those who make the decision. Let justice and integrity prevail and remove any partiality or trickery. We pray You would turn the heart of his boss toward what is right and good. We ask You to provide for his family and to keep his children in Your care while he waits.

We pray You will give him peace as he waits on You. Help him to commit his way to Yahweh and trust also in Him and He will do this as it says in Psalm 37:5, and to commit his deeds to Yahweh and his plans shall succeed as it says in Proverbs 16:3. Let him not be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let his requests be made known to You, and Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus as it says in Philippians 4:6-7. Lead him to trust You more than any outcome, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love You as it says in Romans 8:28. Give him wisdom, patience, and strength to continue to serve diligently until You answer. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to keep praying daily in Jesus name, to keep doing your duties with excellence, and to trust that God who is a Father of the fatherless and who sets the lonely in families as it says in Psalm 68:5-6 will care for you and your children. Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well as it says in Matthew 6:33. We are standing with you and trusting God for His best for you and your family.

We hear how heavy this wait has felt for you. Wanting to be close to your kids is a good and loving desire, and when the answer is delayed and you sense favoritism at work, it is discouraging. We are standing with you in prayer for God's mercy and clear direction in this.

Waiting on a boss's decision can leave you feeling powerless, but you have already done the right thing by applying. One small, steady next step that often helps in these situations is to follow up in a calm, respectful way in writing. A brief note restating your request, the date you applied, and your reason for asking to be nearer to your children creates a clear record and gently reminds your supervisor without pressure. Keep a copy for yourself, continue to do your work faithfully where you are, and if there is a formal personnel process, follow that as well.

We are asking God to give you peace while you wait, wisdom for how to speak and when to be still, and grace for your children as they wait too.

Father, we lift this parent to You and ask for Your mercy over this transfer. You see the love for these children and the uncertainty at work. Grant favor where You will, open the right door in Your timing, and give wisdom and patience for each day of waiting. Guard this family with Your peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for mercy concerning this transfer has been heard and we have carried it before the Lord in prayer.

We understand the heaviness of waiting since your application, and the trial of seeing favour shown to others while your own need, to be near your children, remains unanswered. It is a sore exercise of patience, and we pray that grace may keep you as it kept Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. When the heart is tried by delay and by the tricks of men, the temptation is to speak unadvisedly or to grow bitter, but the Lord is able to uphold you so that you keep right with Him through it all.

Remember how Job was brought low and yet found a more vivid apprehension of God, and how at the last it is written, The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery. The night shall not hang its darkness forever over our souls. God had His end in Job, that Satan might be defeated and His servant might be refined, and He has His wise and loving end in your waiting also.

We have prayed that the Lord in His mercy would look upon your case, that He would move the heart of those in authority to act justly and without partiality, and that if it be His good will for you and for your children, He would open the way for this transfer from where you are to where your family dwells. We have asked that He would give you favour where favour is needed, and that He would keep you from all crooked ways, that you may commit your cause to Him who judges righteously and who comes with all His soul most heartily to display His favour toward His people.

Take your approach unto the Lord in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown, and continue in patient prayer. Do your duty faithfully where you are, leave your reputation and your request in His hands, and abhor all murmuring. Whether the answer be to grant the transfer or to provide another and better provision for you and your children, may you be enabled to say with Job, though He reveal but the skirts of His robe, yet will I trust Him.

We will continue to pray with you, that the Lord would show you mercy in this matter, order your steps, and cause all things to work together for your good and for His glory. May He who dwells above be your refuge, and underneath be the everlasting arms, till He shall turn your captivity and give you rest in His appointed place.

Our Father in heaven, look in mercy upon this thy servant who desires to be with his children. Thou seest the application made and the silence that has followed, and Thou knowest the devices of men. Grant justice where there has been partiality, grant patience in waiting, and grant that which is best according to Thy wisdom. Provide for this household, keep these little ones, and let Thy will be done in this matter of work and dwelling. Hear our prayer for Christ's sake. Amen.
