Praying for a quiet, harmonious few days of reconciling with my faiths.

Cyriwell

Disciple of Prayer
There has been too much Tempest in the air and I have been trying to make mental mptes to acknowledge to myself, lessons I am glad Im learning and lessons I needed to learn. However, I am somewhat empty - stretched out of any sensing in real time and very tested, tried, and too tired to show up with the good faith I want to. I pray for this week to be uneventful. I pray for time and space for reconciliations with myself and my faith - both of them my sources of strength and both, feeling a little shook for now. I pray for quietude from those that have been making clawing away at my possibilities of safe and content. I pray for a fair and compassionate unfolding of the next couple of hours, days. I pray for my cocoon to be allowed. I pray for the prayers I am praying to come true and Im praying for graceful healing in its possibility.

We have read your request and we join with you in seeking the Lord's peace and rest during this weary and tested season. We hear your longing for quietness, for a few uneventful days, for space to breathe and to be restored, and for protection from those who have been wearing you down. It is good that you are taking mental notes of the lessons you are learning, for God uses even tempestuous seasons to refine us and draw us closer to Himself.

We want to gently and lovingly address two things you shared. You spoke of reconciling with your faiths, and of finding strength in yourself and in your faith. Scripture teaches us there is one true faith and one true source of strength. Ephesians 4:5 reminds us there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism. True reconciliation is not with multiple faiths or with ourselves as a source of strength, but with God Himself through Jesus Christ. We are not sufficient in ourselves, and our hearts can feel shook and empty when we look inward for strength. Our strength and our safe cocoon is found in Him alone. When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I Psalm 61:2, and He gives power to the faint. To him who has no might he increases strength Isaiah 40:29.

We also noticed your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith wholly in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. It is in His name that we find true quietude, forgiveness, and healing.

We understand feeling stretched out, empty, and too tired to show up with the good faith you want to. The Lord does not ask you to strive in your own strength to feel faithful. He invites you to come and rest in Him. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. Be still, and know that I am God Psalm 46:10. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the tempest that has surrounded them, the weariness, the emptiness, and the longing for quiet and harmony. We ask that You grant this week to be peaceful and guarded, with time and space to rest in Your presence. Draw them into a deeper reconciliation with You through Jesus, and let them know that You are their true source of strength and their safe refuge. Quiet the voices and the clawing of those who have disturbed their peace, and surround them with Your protection and compassion. Let the next hours and days unfold with Your fairness, mercy, and grace. Heal what feels shook and empty, and renew their strength as they wait on You. Teach them the lessons You want them to learn, and let them feel Your nearness in real time. May the prayers they are praying according to Your will come to pass, and may they experience graceful healing and the peace that surpasses understanding. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our rest, amen.

We encourage you in these next days to carve out that cocoon in the Lord, to spend quiet time in His Word and in prayer in Jesus name, even if only for a few minutes at a time, and to let Him restore you. He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you, and He will carry you through this tired season into quiet strength.

We hear how tired and stretched thin you feel right now, and how much you are longing for just a few quiet, uneventful days to breathe again. After so much tempest, it makes sense that you feel empty and unable to show up the way you want to, even in your faith. That emptiness doesn't mean you have failed, it often means you have been carrying a lot for a long time.

We love that you named what you need so clearly, time and space, a protected cocoon, a fair and compassionate unfolding of these next hours and days. We are praying for that quietude with you, and for those clawing pressures to ease so you can rest and be restored.

One gentle thought that may help this week is to let reconciling be a slow process rather than something you have to achieve all at once. When we are worn out, faith is less about trying hard in the moment and more like steady training over time, small, simple rhythms matter more than big efforts. If it helps, give yourself permission to keep this week small on purpose. Protect a little pocket of time each day that is just yours, say no to what can wait, and let one quiet practice be enough, a short walk, a few minutes of stillness, a simple honest prayer.

We are holding you in prayer for that graceful healing you mentioned.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see how tested and tired they are. Grant them the quiet, safe days they are asking for, cover their cocoon in Your peace, and gently restore strength to both heart and faith. Lead them step by step in Your wisdom and compassion. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your words tell of a soul stretched thin and emptied, tempest tossed and too tired to show up as you would wish. That weariness is not unknown to the Lord who said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. You ask for a quiet, uneventful space, a cocoon, a little time to breathe, and it is right to desire quietude after so much striving.

Hear this for your comfort, that true rest is not found in circumstances becoming calm, but in Christ becoming precious to you. We depend on Jesus and rest in Jesus by a simple faith, and the brightest of saints has no surer ground to rest on. That rest is a present rest, not rest after death, not rest after a time of probation and growth, but rest given when we come to Jesus, given there and then. We come with the empty hand of faith, and rest is given at once most freely. It comes not by works, not by ordinances, not by much labor to save ourselves, for we have received everything by faith and nothing by merit. The just shall live by faith, from first to last.

You speak of reconciling with your faiths, as though there were two sources of strength. Yet the Word of God speaks of one Lord, one faith, one way of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. Faith is the gift of God, and its very essence lies in dropping down into the arms of Christ, trusting wholly in His finished work. There is no other foundation that can bear the weight of a weary soul, for justice was satisfied in Jesus and He alone has made full atonement. To look elsewhere is to have no comfortable rest, for the work is never finished. To rest on the blood of Christ is to be saved, and the least faith in Jesus, though it be but as a grain of mustard seed, is true faith and is like precious faith in His sight. Little faith shall be tenderly commended, not for its littleness but because it is faith that begins and ends with Jesus.

You ask for healing, and there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. Pluck a leaf of this Tree by your poor trembling faith and if you dare not take more than that, yet shall it make you whole. Faith usually comes by meditating much upon Christ, by hearing the Word of God until the heart says within, Yes, it is true, I will believe it.

So we pray for you now, not that God would bless divided trusts, but that He would draw you to rest wholly and entirely upon Christ. We pray that in these next hours and days the Lord would grant you outward quiet where it is His will, and inward quiet which is His promise, that those who have clawed at your peace would be kept at bay, and that you would find the repose of a learner at the feet of Jesus. May you hear His Word, meditate upon His condescension and suffering, and by an act of simple faith recline upon His promise and find perfect rest. May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you with healing in His wings, and may pardon and healing be one in your experience, for when the Lord forgives, He heals the well of bitterness within.

May the Lord keep you in His gracious care, steady your heart when the pillars seem to tremble, and give you grace to learn by experience that faith, altogether by itself, can give you rest.
