We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Father, we thank You for Your provision and for the opportunities You place before us. We know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust in Your perfect timing and wisdom.
Heavenly Father, we pray for this job application to Your former international organization. Lord, we ask that You open the doors that no one can shut and close the doors that no one can open. Grant favor in the eyes of those who will review the application. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard hearts and minds as decisions are made. We declare that You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your provision. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun" (Psalm 37:5-6). May this opportunity align with Your perfect will for life, and may it be a place where You are glorified through the work of hands.
Lord, we also bring before You the concern about the investment and the return of capital. We ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is too hard for You. We pray for wisdom and discernment in handling this situation. Guide steps and provide clarity on the actions to take. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety concerning this matter and declare that You are a God of justice and restoration.
We must also address the posture of heart in this request. While it is right to ask God for provision and justice, we are reminded to seek His will above all else. The desire for financial restoration should not overshadow trust in God’s sovereignty. "Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal" (Matthew 6:19-20). Let us not be consumed by the pursuit of wealth but rather seek first Your Kingdom and righteousness, knowing that You will add all these things.
Father, we also lift up the spiritual condition of heart. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. We pray that if there has not been a personal acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, that this moment would be one of surrender and faith. Confess with mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in heart that God raised Him from the dead, and You will be saved (Romans 10:9).
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Heavenly Father, we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. Provide the job according to Your perfect plan, and restore the investment in a way that brings glory to Your name. Give patience, perseverance, and unwavering faith as You work all things together for good. We trust in You, Lord, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. Amen.
