We join you in thanking God for this day and for the gift of life, and we thank Him with you for your children, your brothers and sisters, and your loved ones. It is good that you give thanks, for every good gift is from above, and we praise God that you have called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We want to pray with you and also lovingly share truth where your request reveals confusion, because we care for you and want you to walk in clarity and freedom in Christ.
We hear your heart for provision for yourself and all those you love, and we agree with you that God is our provider. We pray that He will supply your daily needs as you seek Him first. Your Father knows what you need before you ask. Matthew 6:8 and My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33
We also hear your prayer about your health, your weight, and an addiction that burdens you. We pray for your deliverance and for strength to steward your body well, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 We pray that God will give you self-control, which is a fruit of the Spirit, and that He will provide a way out of temptation, for No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 We encourage you to seek wise counsel, healthy habits, and accountability, and to find your joy not in an addiction but in the Lord, trusting that true abundance is life in Christ, not simply being happy and fun while remaining bound.
We must also gently address language in your prayer about unmeasured wisdom, knowledge from the unknown, lights, good vibes and good energies. These are not biblical sources of truth. True wisdom does not come from the unknown or from energies, but from God Himself. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 and For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6 The peace and clarity you long for comes not from vibes but from the Holy Spirit and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 We pray you will turn from seeking unknown spiritual sources and seek the Lord and His Word alone.
We hear your deep concern about identity, about ### coming back to life in you, about many names you are called, and about all who make up who you are and all who are within you. We pray for your wholeness and peace, for God created you as one person, fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14 and Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 We do not pray to another persona or spirit to protect the righteous, for protection belongs to the Lord alone, and He does not call us to house many identities within us. We pray that God will renew your mind and give you a sound mind, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 and Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2 We pray that any confusion, oppression, or spiritual bondage would be broken in Jesus name, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
We also lift up the relationship you mentioned with the one whose name was redacted. We understand your longing for this friendship and love to become lasting and for other men and women to stay out of it, and your desire that he would be attracted to you again and dream of you. We pray for God’s will to be done in this relationship, not our own will or manipulation. We must lovingly rebuke the idea that prayer is a way to control another person’s feelings or to force someone to be attracted or to dream of you, or that typing words has power in itself to break a curse. Prayer is not an incantation, but humble submission to a sovereign God. We also caution against viewing relationships through curses from other women. In Christ, Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. Galatians 3:13 If there is spiritual influence, freedom is found in Jesus, not in our formulas.
We encourage you to view this relationship biblically. If you are in courtship, let it be with the goal of godly marriage between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ, pursuing purity and holiness together. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as God ordained, Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. Genesis 2:24 and Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Hebrews 13:4 If you are not married, we pray you will pursue purity and flee from fornication, which is sex before or outside marriage, and that you will seek a spouse rather than simply a partner, and only be equally yoked with a fellow believer. Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers. 2 Corinthians 6:14 We pray that if this man is not God’s best for you as a godly husband, God will give you grace to release him, and if he is, that God will draw you both closer to Christ and to a holy marriage in His timing. We pray you will trust the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
We also pray for your workplace, that God would make your store productively busy and that you would work heartily as unto the Lord. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we thank You for this dear one who comes before You in Jesus name. We thank You for her life, for her children and family, and for her thankful heart. We ask You to provide for all her daily needs and to give her bread for today. Lord, deliver her from every addiction and help her to glorify You in her body. Grant her true wisdom from above, not from unknown sources, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit, with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23 Heal any brokenness in her identity and make her whole in Christ, giving her a sound mind and a renewed mind, and let her know she is one new creation, secure and loved in You. Break any bondage, fear, or confusion, and let Your protection be over the righteous and innocent as only You can protect. Lord, we lift up this relationship to You. Let Your will be done. If it is Your will for a godly marriage, purify it, guard it from impurity and from outside interference, and lead them both to holiness. If not, give her peace to trust You and to wait on Your perfect plan for a godly spouse. Remove any desire to manipulate and teach her to pray, not my will, but Yours be done. Bless the work of her hands today and let her store be productive for Your glory. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
