God, I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen

We rejoice with you in thanking God for this day and for His presence in all of our lives, and we give thanks with you for your baptism yesterday and for the new fellowship He is bringing you in His church. Baptism is a beautiful outward testimony of the inward work God has done, for we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and we love to see you taking steps to walk with Him and to meet with other believers. The scripture reminds us not to forsake our own assembling together as is the custom of some, but to exhort one another, Hebrews 10:25, and we pray you will be rooted in that community and grow in strong, godly friendships.

We are praying with you for your children and your family, for your work and for the store where you labor, and for the deep longings of your heart regarding marriage and relationships, and we want to speak truth to you in love as we pray.

We notice you speak of one man as your soul mate and ask God to break a curse of the chase so he will come to you, while you are still married to your husband and are also praying about whether to divorce or to continue living in the same home while not being together, or to move in with this other man or with one of your sons. We must lovingly and firmly address this, because it does not align with biblical principles. Marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate, Matthew 19:6, and For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, Malachi 2:16. The Lord calls husbands and wives to faithfulness, forgiveness, and reconciliation where possible. If you are married, to pursue a romantic or emotional relationship with another man, to move in with him outside of marriage, or to have intimacy outside of marriage is adultery and fornication. The scripture says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, Hebrews 13:4, and Flee sexual immorality, 1 Corinthians 6:18. Being a boyfriend or girlfriend in God's eyes is not casual dating but courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, and any relationship should be pursuing a godly spouse who loves the Lord, not a soul mate defined by feelings or by the way you interact. We encourage you not to seek curses or soul ties to be broken as if love is a spell, but to pray for God's will to be done and for each person's heart to be transformed to seek Christ first. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart, Psalm 37:4, but those desires must be shaped by His Word.

If your marriage is struggling and your husband's heart has grown distant, we pray for restoration and for godly counsel. The Lord instructs wives and husbands not to leave one another lightly, 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, and to seek reconciliation, counseling with a pastor, and prayer together. Divorce is permitted by scripture only for sexual immorality, Matthew 19:9, and even then reconciliation is the higher hope. To remain in the same home while living as if not married, or to plan to move in with another man without marriage, would not honor God and would bring confusion and hurt to your children. We pray you will not pursue cohabitation outside of marriage but will either work toward healing in your marriage with the Lord's help or, if separation becomes necessary, live in purity and seek the Lord's direction without entering into another relationship until the Lord clearly leads in a way that honors His covenant.

We also hear your prayer about your babies and about being formed back together and kept within, with old and new thoughts and things you keep to yourself. We pray for your wholeness and peace in Christ. If you are carrying children or concerned for children yet to be born, we remember that you are fearfully and wonderfully made and that every child is known by God, Psalm 139:13, and Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, Jeremiah 1:5. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new, 2 Corinthians 5:17. We pray God will heal any fragmentation you feel, guard your mind, and make you whole in Him, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7.

For your work we join you in prayer that you would work heartily as for the Lord, Colossians 3:23, and we ask God to bless the store with integrity and provision and to bring customers as He wills, while you trust Him with the outcome. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6-7.

Regarding those who have stolen from you or borrowed and not repaid, we understand the pain of loss and injustice. We pray God will protect what He has entrusted to you and provide for all your needs, but we also encourage you to release vengeance to the Lord and walk in forgiveness. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord, Romans 12:19, and Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you, Ephesians 4:32. We pray those who have done wrong would be convicted and turn to righteousness, and that you would be freed from bitterness.

We thank God that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and forgiveness of sins, and we are grateful you have called on Him.

We pray together now for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift this dear sister and her children to You. We thank You for saving her and for her baptism and for drawing her into Your family. We ask You to establish her in Your Word, surround her with true and real Christian friends who will protect and encourage her and speak truth, and fill her with new life, new godly ideas and conversations that honor You. Heal her heart and mind and make her whole in Christ, guard what she ponders in secret, and let Your peace guard her heart. We pray for her marriage, Lord, that You would bring conviction, softening, and a change of heart where needed, and lead toward reconciliation, purity, and covenant faithfulness if it is Your will, or give clear, biblical wisdom and godly counsel if difficult decisions must be made, keeping her from adultery and fornication and from moving into any relationship outside of holy marriage. We pray for the other man she mentioned, that You would draw him to Yourself and cause him to seek You above any human chase. We pray for her children, born and unborn, that they would be protected, loved, and raised in the knowledge of You. We pray for her work, that You would provide and bless the labor of her hands and meet every need. We pray for justice and mercy regarding what was stolen, that You would repay and restore and help her to forgive as You have forgiven us. We ask all this in the precious and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Thank you for sharing so much of your heart with us, and for letting us rejoice with you. Being baptized yesterday and meeting new people at church is such a significant step, and we are grateful you reached out after it.

We hear how much you are carrying right now. You named so many hopes at once, for your children, for stability at home, for your work and for true friendships that bring life and protection. Wanting to feel whole and at peace inside, to be secure where you live, and to be surrounded by people you can trust are deeply human needs, and we are bringing them before the Lord with you.

Seasons with big questions about family and housing can feel overwhelming because there are so many decisions tangled together. You do not have to sort it all in one day. Staying connected to the church where you were just welcomed can be a steady help. It may also be good to talk openly with a pastor or a trusted mature believer there about your situation at home and what wisdom looks like for next steps. If there are legal questions about housing or divorce, a local attorney or legal aid resource can give clear information alongside pastoral care.

We are praying for you and your children, and for quiet strength as you walk forward.

Father, thank You for this sister and for her baptism and desire to follow You. We ask You to keep her close, to give her peace and wholeness in Christ, wisdom for each decision about family and home, provision in her work, and faithful friendships around her. Guard her and her children and lead her gently day by day. In Jesus name, Amen.

We give thanks with you for the mercy that brought you to the house of God and to the waters of baptism yesterday. To be buried with Christ and raised to walk in newness of life is the greatest of all mercies, and we rejoice that you have been brought into the fellowship of His people. May you now be built up in that fellowship, learning His Word and walking in His ways.

We hear in your prayer much longing and much loneliness, and also much confusion of heart. Our Lord knows that loneliness well. He was left alone just when as Man He most needed human sympathy, and yet He could say, I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. If you feel friendless or cast about between many cares, remember that He has entered into that sorrow and He understands it. He is able to keep you and to give you peace even when earthly helps fail.

We hear also your desires concerning your family and concerning two men. Here we must speak plainly and lovingly as Scripture speaks. Marriage is not a thing of the chase or of divided affections. It is a covenant of one man and one woman for life, entered by solemn choice on both sides and cemented by mutual love, so that the two become one. What God has joined together is to be kept holy, and all that belongs to marriage, living together and the bringing forth of children, belongs within that covenant. For this reason we cannot ask God to bless a path that would divide your heart between your husband and another, or to provide for living together outside of marriage, whether with one or with another. Such a way would not bring the new life and new peace you seek.

Instead we will pray with you for what is holy and good. We pray that God will give you a clear mind and a pure heart, that He will form your life more and more after Christ, and that all you think of and keep to yourself may be brought into His light and healed. If you are married, we pray that the Lord will work in both your hearts, to turn you toward repentance, forgiveness and faithfulness, or if there has been deep brokenness, to give you godly counsel and wisdom for what is right. If your heart has been drawn toward another, we pray that God will deliver you from that entanglement and teach you to love what is holy, and to wait upon His will rather than upon the chase. True love does not pursue many, it chooses and it keeps covenant.

You spoke of children and of babies kept within you, and of new ideas and new conversations. We pray that God will give you wholeness in Christ, that you will find your identity not in many selves but in being one new creature in Him, and that He will guard the lives entrusted to you. We pray that every child, born and unborn, will be precious in your sight as in His, and that you will seek wise and loving help from your pastor and from mature women in the church to care for you and your children well.

For your daily work we pray that God will prosper the labor of your hands in honesty and diligence, and that He will bring customers by His providence and make your work a testimony of faithful service. For true friends we pray that He will bring into your life those who love Him and will speak truth to you and protect you and your household. For what has been stolen or borrowed and not returned, we pray that you may leave vengeance to the Lord, that you may be kept from bitterness, and that God Himself will be your portion and provider, supplying all you need.

Take heart from Peter, whose fall and restoration are so fully recorded for our comfort. The Lord Jesus prayed for him before he fell, and looked upon him after he fell, and that look severed him from the crowd and brought him to repentance with tears. Till Peter had heard from the Lord's own mouth the charge to feed His sheep, he did not push himself forward again. So Christ still prays for His own. He has made provision for your future in His intercession, and He is able to lift you up and to turn you again to your first love and earliest zeal, that you may afterwards strengthen others.

Go then to Him in secret prayer, open all your heart to Him, forsake what you know to be contrary to His Word, cleave to your church, and seek the counsel of your minister. He will not despise a broken and contrite heart.

We pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, that He will forgive your sins, cleanse your conscience, establish your home in holiness, give you daily bread, keep your children, and make you to know that though you may feel alone, you are not alone, because the Father is with you in Christ. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for giving thanks to God for this day and for your life. I rejoice with you that you have come to church and have been baptized. That is a great gift, for holiness comes to us through faith in Jesus Christ, and baptism is the sign of new life in Him. God looks to the one who is humble and contrite and who trembles at His word, and He delights in a lowly and broken heart that seeks Him.

I have heard all that you have asked and I want to pray with you in a way that seeks what is holy and good according to Scripture.

You spoke of wanting to help a man you feel is your soul mate and asking God to break a curse of the chase and send him to you. You also spoke of your husband and the hope that you might not divorce but still live together without being together, or that if you do divorce you might still live in the house or move in with this other man. I must speak to you gently and truthfully about this. Marriage is a bond ordained by God, and Scripture says marriage is honorable. Holiness in this area means chaste and orderly living, that each person live faithfully with his own spouse and not pursue another. God does not bless the pursuit of a relationship outside of marriage, and living together or sharing intimacy belongs only within the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. To chase after another while married, or to plan to live with another man apart from marriage, is not the path of peace and holiness that God calls us to follow. Instead I will pray that God will give you a pure heart, that He will guard you from lust and from provision for the flesh to fulfill its desires, and that He will help you to use marriage with moderation and faithfulness. If your marriage is struggling, I pray that God will bring true reconciliation in faithfulness if it is possible, and that you will seek wise and godly counsel from your pastor so that whatever you do honors Christ. If you are not at peace in your home, do not seek a new relationship to solve it, but seek the Lord first and pursue holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

You prayed about your babies and your children, asking that they not be born into this world but be kept within you. I understand your love for them and your desire to protect them. Children are a gift from the Lord, and our calling is to entrust them to Jesus and to care for them in this world while praying for their health and salvation. I will pray that God will keep you and your children in health, that He will form them and keep them according to His good will, and that you will find strength daily for new ideas and new conversations that build up your family in Christ. I also pray for wholeness and peace for you in mind and heart, that all that feels scattered may be gathered together in Christ who makes us whole.

You prayed for your store and for daily provision. It is right to ask God for daily bread and for honest work. I will pray that God will provide for your needs, that He will bring customers through honest means, and that your work will be done with integrity and thankfulness rather than only for greater profit.

You asked for true and real friends who protect you and bring good life. I will pray that God will bring faithful friends into your life who love the Lord and who encourage you toward what is good and pure.

You prayed about things stolen or borrowed and not repaid. I will pray that God will bring justice in His way, that He will protect what is yours, and that He will also give you grace to forgive as Christ forgave us, so that bitterness does not take root.

Let me pray for you now.

Lord Jesus Christ, we thank You for this sister who has come to You in baptism and who desires to know You. Grant her a contrite and lowly spirit, with all lowliness and meekness and patience. Keep her in holiness through faith, help her to walk in chastity and faithfulness, and to follow peace with all people. Guard her marriage and her home, turn hearts toward repentance and reconciliation where it is Your will, and keep her from every path that would lead away from Your design for marriage. Protect her children and her babies, grant them life and health, and help her to raise them in Your love. Provide for her daily needs in her work, give her honest provision, and surround her with true friends who love You. Heal what is broken, make her whole in You, and lead her in all things according to Your word. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
