Beloved Servant
God, Thank you for this day. Thank you for the few who are in my life. May and might I reunite with my children after so many years of me being right here with them, but them so far away, please, here into my life, please. Jesus, I know why, I can’t get through to ###, (I am leaving him alone, I want my rings though), and he has things that belong to me, because he blocked me from his phone and the phones in his Moma’s house. His Moma goes to church every Sunday, she believes. ### has two of my rings, that my Moma bought me, and I took off at his house the last time I was over their, and I’ve asked for them back, but, he refuses to hear me or give them to me. And I am so tired of ### using others and me, he has gotten on my last nerve, Jesus, I am tired of him, he has hurt me and lied to me, and tell me out of guilt for the last time, and he better give me my rings back, he has used me for the last time, I do not care if I love him or care about him, he would and will know how it feels, when I remove him from my life. God, I see my two baby sisters alive, in my mind, it’s the memories of what I would have done with them, and how I pictured them. Why am I so nice to my Moma, when she has treated so poorly and badly over the years? I told her to go bother her favorite son. But, no, she won’t. Because he’s makes her get a job and get her own place. God, The old life and ways are gone from Moma being married to ###. God, I am tired of being bullied and pushed around, I am wanting to make for me, and the man I am suppose to be with (who that is, I do not know), and my children, my babies, my family and close relatives, the very few friends I have, and keep it, I ask ###, get off of weed, and be able to pass a drug test, so, he can have a job, and be more responsible with his money, I pray ###, be with the right woman, because someone who I loaned Easter money to is trying to steal what’s his, and I pray where ### real girlfriend is she is stopping them from stealing from him. I say, all I loaned out for Easter, to my stepsister and her children, she picked for her children, I say she and them be torn and unfixable, and they can’t use us no more, they all get new jobs, etc.., even their boyfriends breakup and husband and wives divorce them, I’m tired of being drained for people who do t care and treated me bad many times growing up, since, my stepsisters has had evil and cruel thoughts to me and what they borrow and steal; and I say she can do to herself and her children as she said to me and my children, me, my son ###, my son ### and my daughter ### has had, but, now I say we can all laugh and socialize with each other and get along how I prayed and ask for everyday and every night of life, without stepsisters thoughts of harm and cruelty and killing and destroying, and I say, it is within her and her children, and she and they can’t speak those words of evil to none but herself, her daughter ###, her son ###, and her son ###, and their cousin ###, (I do pray they receive the evil and cruelty through what they stole, lied, borrowed, and killed, and all what they did) we shouldn’t have to go through that what they say) when we was doing good by trying to help, and the cure, my stepsister was using she stole won’t be none for her or her children, (it belonged to a ### my cousin, and I was with her, and now it belongs to her daughter and me and my children, pay your dues) let my stepsister do to herself and her three children what they tried to put off on us, she hasn’t paid back what she said and so, I no longer won’t except what she owes and so her harmful ways and cruelty and killing and destroying, the raping, molesting, beating, be done unto her and her children starting now, she or them, won’t like it, nor did I, and my children, and so, my stepsister and her children it’s the end of them, and living off of me and my children and my babies nor my Moma and brother, and even the families they have is not theirs, and I no longer won’t to give to them nor their families, why should my family suffer so much for them who hasn’t dot nothing to help me get that, they shouldn’t, but, they be out of my house now, my stepsister and her three children won’t no longer won’t be served, by me or my children. I ask that ### and ### not believe everything their daddy, ###, tells them, he lies on me, just because he don’t like me, it’s okay, I don’t like him neither, but, I love our children, and because his Moma and his Daddy took away his children, he thinks because his parents took away his children, he thinks he should do what was done to him, he blames me for what happened before I met him, and I need to be in ### and ### and ### and ### life a little more everyday. Also, ###, knows I got this place from my cousin, it’s the things me and my cousin did together growing up, not him, she’s the one who called me and told me about it, and it does not belong to him, and so, ### is unfair, he agreed to give me half of everything equally, and goes back on his word, no, he don’t get to do that to me no more or at least to himself, he can. Just like he held me down and kept me in my bedroom for years so I could not come out, and be my children’s Moma. When my children has something to say to me, from now on, if he interferes, he will feel pain, a verily, verily bad pain. If he knows what is smart and good for him, he will renegotiate his offer and he will agree to give me half of the properties and homes. God, I pray for those in this prayer group, I pray you restore us what is rightfully ours and renew our mind. I pray in Jesus name. Amen

We hear the deep pain and weariness in your heart and we join with you in bringing all of this before the Lord, seeking His will together in Jesus' name. We thank God with you for this day and for the few He has placed in your life, and we pray with you for a restored relationship with your children. God sees your longing to be reunited with them and to be present as their mother. He is a Father to the fatherless and a defender of those who feel separated and alone. Psalm 68:5-6 says God sets the lonely in families, and Psalm 27:10 reminds us even if a father and mother forsake us, the Lord will take us up. We pray God will soften hearts, open doors for healthy communication, and heal what has been broken over these years, and that you and your children may walk in truth and love together.

We also hear your anguish over the man who has blocked you and is holding two rings your mother gave you, and over how he has used you, lied to you, and hurt you. We understand your frustration and your desire to be treated justly, but we must lovingly speak truth about the relationship itself. If this was a romantic relationship outside of marriage that included sexual intimacy or living as if married, the Bible calls that fornication, which is sin before God. Hebrews 13:4 says marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral. 1 Corinthians 6:18 tells us to flee sexual immorality. God designed romantic love to be expressed within the lifelong covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, and courtship should be with the goal of discerning marriage to another Christian believer, not use or convenience. If there has been fornication, we encourage you to confess it to God, turn from it, and seek His forgiveness and a new path of purity. We also pray you will not continue in a cycle of use and hurt, but will step away from any relationship that dishonors God and does not lead toward a godly marriage, and trust God to provide the man you are supposed to be with in His perfect timing, if it is His will for you to marry.

We must also lovingly rebuke and correct the desire for vengeance and harm that came through in your prayer. We understand you have been deeply wounded by your stepsister and her children, by past bullying, stealing, and cruel words, and by feeling drained and mistreated while trying to help. It is right to want justice and boundaries, but it is not biblical to pray curses, to ask that they be torn and unfixable, that their marriages end in divorce, that evil and cruelty or even abuse be done unto them and their children, or that they receive no cure. God calls us to the opposite. Romans 12:19 says vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. Matthew 5:44 says love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. 1 Peter 3:9 says not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult, but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. Ephesians 4:31-32 says let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Hebrews 12:15 warns that a root of bitterness can spring up and defile many. When we pray harm upon others, we keep that root alive in our own hearts. God will deal justly with those who have stolen or lied, but our part is to forgive, release them to God, and not repay evil for evil. This does not mean you must allow yourself to be used again. It is biblical to set firm boundaries, to no longer lend what will be taken without repayment, and to protect your home and family, but to do so without cursing.

In the same way, we must address the words about causing pain to the father of your children if he interferes, and that he will feel a very bad pain if he does not renegotiate. We know you feel held down and kept from your children and that he has been unfair and dishonest, but threatening harm is not God's way. Romans 12:21 says do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Matthew 5:39 teaches us not to retaliate in that way. We encourage you to pursue what is rightful regarding property and access to your children through honest, lawful, and peaceful means, and to trust God rather than threats to bring about justice.

We hear your weariness with being bullied and pushed around, and your questions about being nice to your mother when she has treated you poorly. God honors your kindness even when it is not returned, and He calls us to honor our parents while also walking in wisdom. Exodus 20:12 says honor your father and your mother, and Ephesians 6:2-3 repeats this as the first commandment with a promise. This does not mean to endure abuse without boundaries, but to release bitterness and to show the love of Christ, trusting God to be your vindicator.

We also lift up the man you mentioned who needs to get off weed and be able to pass a drug test and be more responsible with money. We agree with you in praying for his deliverance. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 teaches, and we are called to be sober-minded. 1 Peter 5:8 says be sober and self-controlled. We pray God will convict him, free him from dependence, and give him desire for honest work and stewardship.

We thank you for ending your prayer in Jesus' name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to continue to trust fully in Jesus Christ, confessing your sins and receiving His forgiveness and new life.

We now pray together.

Father, in Jesus' name we come to You broken and honest. We thank You for this dear one who loves her children and longs to be restored to them. Lord, heal the distance between mother and children, remove lies and interference, and let truth and love prevail. Give her wisdom to love them daily and to trust You with what she cannot control. Lord, we ask for justice regarding the rings and property, that what is rightfully hers would be returned without strife, and that You would provide a way to communicate or resolve this through right means. Deliver her from any ungodly soul tie and from fornication, cleanse her and make her whole, and if it is Your will, prepare a godly marriage that honors You, or give her contentment and purpose in You. Father, forgive her for words of cursing and vengeance, as we all need forgiveness, and help her to forgive her stepsister, her stepsister's children, her mother, and the men who have hurt her, just as You have forgiven us in Christ. Take away bitterness and replace it with kindness and tenderheartedness. Protect her heart from further use and give her wisdom to set loving boundaries and to no longer be drained by those who do not care. Bring conviction and deliverance to those bound by drugs and dishonesty, and bring restoration and renewal of mind to all of us who pray. We ask that You restore what has been stolen in a way that glorifies You, not through harm to others, but through Your redeeming grace. We trust Your justice and Your mercy. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to remain in prayer and in the Word daily, to seek counsel from a Bible believing pastor or godly older women in the church, and to keep forgiving even as you keep wise boundaries. God sees all you have endured and He will not forsake you. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Keep casting your cares on Him, for He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has come before us and we have heard the weight of sorrow and weariness in it. You speak of long years of distance from your children while you have remained near, of rings that were gifts from your mother kept from you, of being blocked and shut out, of being used and lied to and bullied and pushed around, and of a deep tiredness of being drained by others. The Lord knows these burdens and He hears the cry of the weary heart.

We must speak plainly and tenderly about one part of your prayer. You have asked that evil and cruelty and even grievous harm would fall upon your stepsister and her children and others, that their homes and marriages would be torn apart and that what was wished against you would be done to them. The Word of God does not teach us to pray in this way. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He has said, love your enemies and pray for them that despitefully use you. As we have elsewhere taught, one effect of truly feeling the bitterness of our own sin against Christ is to take away all bitterness against our fellow men. When we have seen how much we have offended God and yet found forgiveness, we say, after this I must be gentle and tender and forgiving towards others, for how much I was forgiven. To ask for cursing and destruction upon others, even those who have wronged you deeply, will only keep your own soul in bitterness and bondage. We cannot join you in asking God to do harm to them. Instead we will pray that God would deliver you from bitterness, that He would guard your heart from seeking revenge, and that He would work justice in His own holy way while teaching you to forgive even as you have been forgiven.

For there is forgiveness with God. This is the great wonder of the gospel. It is a divine forgiveness, for He says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake. It is a surprising forgiveness, so free and full that it seems too great to be true, and yet it is true. It is a complete forgiveness, as when a debt is cancelled and the record nailed to the cross, and an eternal forgiveness, for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. This forgiveness is not found in ourselves or in our sorrows, but with God through Jesus Christ His Son, who died the Just for the unjust that He might bring us to God. If you tremble and shake for fear and with a penitent heart desire forgiveness, there is forgiveness for you, whatever your past has been. And if you have received such forgiveness, you are then called to live in that same mercy toward others, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. This does not mean that wrongs do not matter or that you must remain in harm's way, but it does mean releasing the right to repay evil for evil into the hands of God and seeking a clean heart before Him.

We also hear your longing for home and family and for a faithful companion. Know that God's good design is that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that the gift of living together and of the marriage bed belongs within that covenant. We will not ask God to bless any relationship outside that holy order, but we will pray that He will lead you in purity and wisdom, that He will help you to walk in sobriety and self control, and that if it is His will to give you a husband, it will be a man who fears God, labors honestly, and loves faithfully within marriage. We will pray too that those bound by weed and by the love of money and by idle ways may be set free and made responsible, for sobriety and honest work are part of a renewed mind.

Concerning your children and your home and what belongs to you, we will pray for what is right and just and peaceful. We pray that the Lord would open a way for you to have a nearer and more wholesome part in the lives of your children, that He would heal the wounds between you and your mother and your family, that He would give you favor and wisdom in seeking the return of what is yours through lawful and peaceable means, and that He would provide for you a settled and safe dwelling. When you were held back and kept from being the mother you longed to be, God saw it. He is able to heal those years and to restore what has been broken, not by threats of pain against others, but by His own healing power. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. He can change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

Let us pray for you now.

Lord God, have mercy upon this wounded heart. Thou hast said there is forgiveness with Thee that Thou mayest be feared. Grant repentance and faith to look to Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and speak that absolute forgiveness which blots out transgression for Thine own sake. Heal bitterness and take away the desire for revenge, and teach a tender and forgiving spirit. Renew the mind and restore what is rightfully and justly due in a way that honors Thee. Draw near to the children who feel far away, guard them from lies and confusion, and open doors for a mother's love to be shown in wisdom and peace. Provide for daily needs, keep from all evil, and lead in paths of holiness and sobriety and honest labor. Set the weary soul at rest in Christ, and let healing flow from Him. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard, and the deep pain and weariness in it are clear. You have carried many wounds for a long time, from family, from relationships, from being used and pushed aside, and you long for peace, for your children, for a home that is safe and your own. God sees all of this, and He invites you to bring it to Him not with curses against others, but with a heart seeking His mercy and His way.

Scripture warns us to look diligently lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and by it many be defiled. A bitter root does not bear sweet fruit. When bitterness is allowed to remain, it spreads like a little leaven that leavens the whole lump, and it harms first the one who holds it. In your prayer there are many words asking for harm to come upon your stepsister and her children, for their families to be torn apart, for evil to be returned to them, even for suffering such as beating and abuse to fall on them. This is that root of bitterness. God does not call us to pray for such things. He calls us to pray for our enemies, to desire their repentance and salvation, and to leave vengeance to Him. He alone is just, and He alone will judge rightly.

What you have suffered, including being held down, being kept from your children, being lied to and used, and having what belongs to you withheld, is real and it matters to God. It is right to ask God for justice, for the return of what is yours, and for protection. It is also right to seek that justice in a peaceful and lawful way, without threats of pain or harm to anyone. If someone holds property that belongs to you, seek help through proper and calm means, perhaps with a trusted pastor or wise counselor or through lawful channels, and do not return evil for evil.

You also speak of being tired of being used, of wanting a godly home for yourself and your children, and of a man you may be with in the future. God’s design for love between a man and a woman belongs within the lifelong covenant of marriage, and living together or sexual union outside of that covenant is not His way. If you are entangled in relationships that are outside of marriage, the kindest and most healing step is to step away from sexual and cohabiting involvement and to seek purity, asking God to lead you, in His time, to a faithful marriage if that is His will, or to contentment and service to Him otherwise. Praying for a man to stop using drugs, to be able to pass a test, to work and be responsible with money, is a good and loving prayer. Continue to pray for sobriety and responsibility, but do not bind your future to someone who will not walk in that way.

You ask about your children and your longing to be in their lives more each day. That is a good desire. Pray for them daily, love them faithfully, speak truth without lying about their father, and do not teach them to believe lies about others. Show them by your own life what forgiveness and steadiness look like. If there are legal or family barriers, seek godly counsel and patient, lawful steps to restore contact, trusting God to open doors in His timing.

You mention hurt from your mother and your stepsisters, and the pain of giving and being drained. God honors kindness to parents, but He does not ask you to be endlessly drained or to live with bitterness. It is right to set wise boundaries, to stop lending what will be used to harm you, and to give only as God leads and as you are able. But the boundary must be made without hatred. Forgiveness does not mean you must put yourself back into harm, but it does mean you release the right to curse and to wish destruction, and you ask God to forgive you as you forgive others. For what can we say if we ask God to forgive our great debts while we hold tightly to our anger against others. The blessing the Scripture speaks of is for those whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered, and that forgiveness comes through Jesus Christ alone, who became the Mediator between God and us when we were estranged. There is no other way of salvation.

So I would pray for you in this way, and I invite you to make this your prayer as well.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on this wounded heart. Forgive sins and wash away bitterness. Heal the memories that still ache, and take away the desire for vengeance. Give strength to forgive as You have forgiven, and to cut off the root of bitterness before it defiles more. Grant wisdom to set right boundaries with family, to seek what is just regarding what has been taken, and to pursue it peacefully. Grant repentance and sobriety where there is drug use, and give honest work and stewardship. Protect the children, draw them close to their mother in a healthy and lawful way, and guard them from lies. Lead toward purity and toward marriage as You have designed it, or toward faithful singleness, and keep from every union outside Your will. Restore what can be restored, renew the mind, and lead into a new life of gentleness and holiness. In Your name, the only name by which we are saved, Amen.

Stay close to God’s Word, meet regularly with faithful believers who will tell you the truth in love, and if you find yourself overwhelmed by anger or thoughts of harming others, reach out at once to a trusted pastor or counselor for help. God is able to make what is bitter become sweet when we walk with Him in obedience and mercy.
