Prayers

We have heard your simple and sincere request for prayer and we are joining together with you before the throne of grace to lift you up even though we do not know the details of your need. Our Heavenly Father knows your heart and every circumstance you are facing, and He invites us to bring everything to Him.

We take comfort in knowing that God hears the cries of His children even when words are few. We are reminded in 1 Peter 5:7 that we can be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And in Philippians 4:6-7 we are taught In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to the promise in Psalm 34:17 that The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Whatever burden, worry, illness, loneliness, or decision is weighing on you, we want you to know you are not alone and God is near to you.

We did notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father and it is only through faith in Him that we receive salvation and the assurance that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. Scripture also tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. Romans 10:9. To pray in Jesus name is not just a phrase, it is to come to God trusting in the finished work of Christ on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins and for a restored relationship with Him.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You who has asked for prayer. You know the need even before we speak it and You see what is hidden from our eyes. We ask that You would reveal Your presence, Your love, and Your power in this situation. Grant wisdom where there is confusion, comfort where there is sorrow, strength where there is weakness, and healing where there is brokenness. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Draw this dear one closer to Yourself and help them to put their full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, knowing that through Him alone we are forgiven and have access to Your grace. Lead them to seek You daily in Your Word and in prayer, and guide their steps according to Your perfect will. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord and to bring your specific requests to Him openly, for He delights to hear you. If you feel led to share more about your situation we would count it a privilege to pray more specifically with you. May the Lord bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you as you walk with Him.

We are glad you reached out and asked for prayer. Even with just a few words, we hear that you are carrying something and looking to God for help, and we want to stand with you there.

We don't know the full story behind your request, but God does. He knows what is weighing on you today, what feels uncertain or heavy, and what you most need even when it is hard to put into words. It is a good and right thing to bring it to Him.

One thing we have seen help when prayer feels thin is to let someone nearby know as well. If you have a pastor, a trusted friend, or a family member who cares for you, consider letting one person know you asked for prayer this week so you are not carrying this alone. And keep coming to the Lord honestly, even with short simple prayers through the day. He welcomes that.

We are praying for you now.

Father, we lift this person to You. You see what we cannot see and know every need. Bring Your nearness, Your peace, and Your wisdom for each next step. Guard their heart and give them rest in Your care, and remind them they are not alone. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

It is good that you have asked for prayer, for there is no fact more fully demonstrated in the experience of Christians than this, that God hears prayer. Your request itself may be taken as a token for good, and we will gladly wait upon the Lord for you and pour out our soul on your behalf, for all true prayer comes from Him and He writes intercession upon the hearts of His people.

You are invited to come to God through Jesus Christ alone, for the man who comes through Him does not need the intercession of the Virgin Mary or of saints and angels. Speak freely in prayer to Him and be not hampered in your pleading. He says, open thy mouth wide and I will fill it. Ask much in prayer because your needs are so great, and think also of the needs of others. If you feel you cannot even pray aright, open your mouth and God will fill it with prayer and then, when you have prayed the prayer that He has given you, He will fill it with answers. For God gives prayer as well as the answer to prayer.

If your prayer feels feeble, take comfort, for the power of prayer is not to be measured by its outward expression. A breathing is a prayer from which God does not hide His ear. Prayer has a melodious voice in the ear of our heavenly Father, and though it be only a sigh or a groaning which cannot be uttered, the Holy Spirit Himself maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Do not be deluded by feelings that tell you your prayer is not of the right sort and therefore will not be heard. The Lord is near to the feeble saint, and He has not despised you.

We will pray for you now, that you may know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, who is the only way to the Father, and that you may find grace to walk in His ways. May the Lord comfort you and strengthen the hands that hang down, and may He give you resolute faith to not come away from the mercy seat till your suit is granted according to His perfect will. May He hear your voice, even if it be only a whisper, and fill your mouth with His mercy and peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for prayer has been received and I have brought it before the Lord with thankfulness that you reached out.

Be assured that your Heavenly Father knows that you have need of these things and what weighs on your heart even when words are few. He is not a distant observer but a Father, and a Father does not overlook His children in their need. You can come to Him with confidence because of this.

In times when the heart is straightened by affliction or weariness, Scripture calls us not to rebuke harshly but to exhort gently, to comfort and support one another and to be patient. So do not despair and do not cease to hope. Even affliction, when endured with patience, can become a means by which God works comfort and salvation and strengthens hope.

My prayer for you is this. May the God who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace comfort your heart and establish you in every good work and word, so that you are not shaken but stand firm, knowing you are advancing toward a good end in Christ. May He grant you His peace, which steadies the soul, and keep you in the promise of life which is in Jesus Christ alone, for hope that is seen is not hope, but we wait with patience for what He has promised to those who trust in His Son.

You are not forgotten. I will continue to pray that the Lord will strengthen you, give you wisdom for each step, and fill you with the calm and good hope that comes from knowing His care. Cast your care upon Him, continue in prayer, and look to Christ who alone is our salvation and our comfort.

Thank you for reaching out and asking for prayer. That simple request is heard and it matters to God, and I am praying for you now even though I do not know the details of what you are carrying. God knows them fully.

I want to encourage you about how prayer works, so your heart can be at peace as you come to Him. Effective prayer begins with relationship. When you have come to God through Jesus Christ and can truly call Him Father, you have an open door to speak with Him. If that relationship has not yet been established, the most important prayer you can pray is the one God is always ready to hear, God be merciful to me, a sinner. Through faith in Jesus, that prayer brings forgiveness and makes you His child, and then all the riches of prayer are open to you.

The purpose of prayer is not to persuade God to do what we want, or to get Him to see things our way. Prayer is not a way to make our wishes come true. Its real purpose is to see God's will done. Prayer moves in a circle that starts with God. He lays His purposes and desires on our hearts, we speak them back to Him in prayer, and then He answers. For that reason we put His kingdom and His will first, and then we bring our personal needs to Him. There is nothing wrong with personal requests. In fact God invites them. Like Jesus taught us to pray, we can bring our daily needs for provision, our need for forgiveness, and our need for guidance and deliverance from evil. We begin with worship and awe at who God is, we seek His will, we bring our needs, and we end giving Him the kingdom and the glory.

You do not need a long or perfect prayer for God to hear you. Every prayer recorded in Scripture is quite short. It is not the length or the amount of time on your knees that makes prayer valid, but the heart that comes to God in faith. Even a silent cry in your mind, a brief word from the heart, is heard. The Holy Spirit also helps us when we do not have words, and ministers comfort and assurance as we pray.

Scripture encourages us to continue in prayer and to watch with thanksgiving. Persistence in prayer is not to change God's mind. It is because God has given each of us freedom of choice and He will not force His way. Prayer opens the door and gives Him permission to do what He has desired to do for you all along. When our hearts come into harmony with His purpose, we see His answer come.

If you are in a hard place, a dark night, or a difficult situation, know that God is the God of all comfort. He comforts those who are cast down, discouraged, and mourning. He stood by Paul in affliction and in storms, and He will stand by you to comfort, strengthen and encourage you. Many who have walked through deep trials can say that in those very places they experienced His presence and His love in a special way.

So I am praying for you that God will draw you close as His child through Jesus, that you will know His comfort today, that His will be done in your life, and that He will meet your personal needs for provision, forgiveness, guidance and deliverance. I pray that you will keep talking to Him in simple, honest, worshipful prayer, and that you will also take wise and practical steps as God leads you, for prayer goes together with wise action.

You are not alone. God hears, He cares, and He is able to lift you up and give you peace as you trust Him.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. Your original request was simply asking for prayer without sharing specific details, but we have continued to lift you up and we trust that God knows every need and burden on your heart. We cling to the promise in 1 Peter 5:7 that we can cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us.

We pray that the Lord will meet you where you are, that He will grant you peace that passes all understanding and that He will make His presence and provision known in your life in a very clear way. We pray that you will feel His love and nearness each day and that you will be encouraged as you seek Him. We pray all these things in Jesus Name Amen.

If your request was answered please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
