Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer for the Lord to take over and to fight against every evil gathering directed at you is heard, and I join my faith with yours in Jesus name.
Scripture teaches that the beginning of wisdom is to hate what God hates. God hates evil because evil destroys. It destroys the person who practices it and it destroys those around him. For that reason we are not to grow tolerant toward evil or learn to compromise with it. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, to turn away from it, and to depart from it with your whole heart.
That is also part of how God protects you. His word tells you not to go in the way of evil people, to avoid it, to pass not by it, but to turn from it and run from it. Those who walk in darkness and speak perverse things cannot keep their course unless they cause others to fall. So keep your eyes looking straight ahead on Jesus, ponder the path of your feet, let your ways be established, and remove your foot from every evil way. When you fear the Lord and depart from evil in your own life, there is a promise of health and strength and peace that comes from walking in His ways.
Be assured that nothing is hidden from the Lord. His eyes are upon all our ways. No gathering formed in darkness is hidden from His face. You do not need to devise vengeance in your own heart or try to fight in your own strength. The psalmist prayed, He shall repay evil to my enemies, cut them off in your truth, and you have delivered me out of all trouble. That is the right prayer. Ask God to deal with what is evil in truth and to keep your own heart free from hatred and revenge, trusting Him to be your defender.
I pray now that the Lord, the same God who answered Elijah, will surround you, scatter every plan formed against you, and cut off the influence of evil from your life. May He keep you from the evil of rebellion and disobedience, lead you in upright paths, and give you wisdom to avoid every association that would draw you into darkness. May He deliver you out of all trouble and let you see His faithfulness with your own eyes. May He guard your body and your spirit and establish your steps as you honor Him and walk in obedience to Him.
In Jesus name, amen.
