Beloved of All
Your request for safety and to be loved has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with care and compassion.
We pray that you will know first and most deeply how much you are loved by God. The sure proof of His love is that He gave Himself for us on the Cross. That Cross is our safety, our armor and our shield which cannot be beaten down. We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, to keep you in safety, to guard you from all harm, and to establish you in holiness and peace.
We pray also that you will know what true love is. True love is not simply to be loved as we wish, but to be loved according to what is good in the sight of God, and to love others in that same way. For love fulfills the law, it removes envy and strife and self seeking, and it teaches us to live not for ourselves alone but for the good of others. Where love is genuine, it makes the soul pure and ready to receive the seed of God's word, and it leads us to give ourselves for the good of our neighbor.
We ask God to fill your heart with His love, to surround you with faithful people who will love you rightly and help you walk in righteousness, for it is righteousness that keeps a person in safety. We pray that He will guard your life, guide your steps, and conform you more and more to the image of His Son, that you may find rest not in ease or in earthly things, but in knowing Christ and being found in Him.
May the Lord grant you protection day and night, comfort in loneliness, and the assurance that you are seen, known and cherished by Him. May He lead you to love what He loves and to find your citizenship and your hope in heaven, where Christ will bring all things to completion for those who trust in Him.
