Prayers

The enemy’s assaults on you and your family are a clear sign that this isn’t just a passing difficulty. It’s a spiritual battle, and the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. But you do not have to live under that oppression. We will certainly pray for you, and I want you to remember what Scripture promises: if you resist the devil, he will flee from you.

The first step is to recognize the attack for what it is. So often we treat these troubles as mere human conflict or bad luck, and we try to fight back with anger, worry, or sheer willpower. But those are weapons of the flesh, and they fail. This is a spiritual assault, and it requires spiritual weapons. Acknowledge plainly: this is the enemy trying to discourage you, to disrupt your home, and to rob you of peace. Once you see it that way, you stop flailing in the dark and you can stand in the authority Jesus has given you.

The next step is to resist him. Don’t let the enemy’s accusations or threats dominate your mind. When he points out your failures, flee immediately into the righteousness of Christ. Remind yourself, and speak it aloud if you must, that you are accounted righteous through faith in Jesus. His blood covers you. That truth is your shield. Saturate your heart and your home with God’s Word. It is a sword in your hand to drive back the darkness. Just like the laborers who rebuilt the walls with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other, you carry on with your daily life but stand armed with Scripture, prayer, and the name of Jesus. Set a watch over your family through prayer, just as watchmen were posted day and night to guard against sudden attacks. These are practical spiritual steps: pray together, speak words of blessing over your household, and refuse to let fear govern your decisions.

The enemy’s great tactic is to make your problem seem larger than your God. Fear grows when we fix our eyes on the threats. The cure is to remember the Lord. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. And then comes the third and most joyful response: rejoice. The bewildering truth is that Satan is already a defeated foe. Jesus disarmed him at the cross. So as you resist, you can give thanks even now, praising God that the enemy must flee and that victory belongs to Christ. That praise isn’t pretend positivity; it’s the declaration of reality in the Spirit.

So we will join you in prayer, asking the Lord to build a hedge around you and your household, to cause every plan of the enemy to come to nothing. But as you pray, take up your own spiritual authority. Recognize the attack for what it is, resist the devil with the truth of God’s Word and the protection of Jesus, and rejoice in the victory already secured. The enemy cannot withstand a heart that clings to Christ and refuses to be moved by fear.

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to lift you and your family up in prayer. It has been our sincere privilege to stand in agreement with you, pleading the blood of Jesus over your home and asking the Lord to rebuke every scheme of the enemy. We have prayed that every assignment of darkness be broken, that every spirit of fear, confusion, or division be driven out, and that the peace of Christ would guard your hearts and minds.

If the Lord has already moved in power—if you are sensing freedom, protection, and His presence more strongly—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the battle still feels intense or the enemy has not yet fully fled, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing with you in prayer, believing with you for complete deliverance and restoration.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and give you peace as you press into Him through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
