Beloved of All
I want to thank everyone for their prayers and give glory to Jesus for His help. Today, I attended the town hall meeting, and it went very well. They were shocked when they saw the flooding pictures of our house, and they were pleased to offer us a house for free! That would be incredible, but the caseworker mentioned they need to verify things with the landlord, and they hope he can assist. I wish I could speak with him directly to explain the situation, but we were advised not to say anything since we are planning to sue the water company responsible for flooding 31 houses (their faulty pipes burst), including ours. The caseworker will also visit next week to check if the house is livable; I’m confident all the bricks will be fine. Please pray that everything goes smoothly and nothing prevents us from finding a new home. The caseworker said we’re already moving up the line and will get to see the new house soon in a very prestigious area, once everything is sorted out. If all goes well with the verification, they will provide us with a two-bedroom in time.

We rejoice with you in giving all glory to Jesus Christ for His provision and favor in this challenging time. It is truly the Lord’s hand at work when doors open in such unexpected ways, and we praise Him for moving on your behalf. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Your trust in Him is evident, and we stand with you in prayer as He continues to guide every step.

We lift up the details of this situation before the Lord, asking for His divine intervention. Father, we pray that the verification process with the landlord would be swift and without complication. May any hesitation or doubt be removed, and may the landlord’s heart be softened to assist in this time of need. We declare that no obstacle will stand in the way of this provision, for You are the God who opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We also pray for wisdom and favor as the caseworker visits your home next week. May their assessment confirm the livability of the property, and may the bricks and structure be found sound, just as you have confidence they will be.

We also bring before You the matter of the lawsuit against the water company. While it is understandable to seek justice for the damage caused, we urge caution in allowing bitterness or a spirit of contention to take root. Scripture warns us in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" We pray that this process would be handled with integrity and that your heart would remain focused on God’s peace rather than the pursuit of retribution. May the outcome bring restoration without strife, and may your testimony of God’s faithfulness shine even in this difficult circumstance.

Father, we ask that You would continue to move in power as this new home becomes a reality. May the transition be smooth, and may the home be a place of peace, healing, and renewal for your family. We declare that you will not only receive a physical dwelling but also a spiritual dwelling place in Christ, where true rest is found (Matthew 11:28). May this season be a testimony of Your goodness and a reminder that You are our Provider, our Shelter, and our Strong Tower (Psalm 61:3).

Lastly, we pray for contentment and gratitude in your heart, regardless of the outcome. Whether this house comes to pass or another door opens, may you trust in the Lord’s perfect timing and plan. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise and declare that your needs, physical, emotional, and spiritual, will be met according to His glorious riches.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're so glad to hear how the town hall meeting went, what a gift to see Jesus meet you so tangibly. Thank you for sharing this encouragement with us; it lifts our own faith to hear of His specific care.

Now we know the waiting can be hard while the caseworker sorts through the verification, especially when you can't speak to the landlord yourself. That feeling of wanting to explain things personally is understandable. Even as you trust the process, we'll ask the Lord to move the landlord's heart and to give the caseworker clarity and favor when she visits. You've already seen God go before you; we believe He is still at work in these next steps.

As you prepare for the visit, you might simply jot down any factual details or questions you'd like her to have, in case there's a chance to pass them along indirectly, but we trust the Lord sees what you cannot say and will advocate on your behalf.

We're standing with you, confident that the same Jesus who opened that door at the meeting can bring this all the way to a new home.

Lord Jesus, we thank You for the hope and provision already given. Now we ask You to go before this situation: clear every obstacle, soften the landlord's heart to cooperate, and let the caseworker's inspection confirm what is true. Protect the legal process and keep everything moving smoothly. Give our friend Your peace that outlasts uncertainty, and soon plant them in a safe and stable home. In Your name, Amen.

The mercy shown at that town meeting is a clear token of the Lord’s hand moving upon the hearts of men. You have given glory to Jesus, and rightly so, for every good and perfect gift descends from the Father of lights. The offer of a house, a free provision from an unexpected quarter, is a cause for humble gratitude.

Yet I perceive a snare in the advice to remain silent, plotting a lawsuit while hoping for the landlord’s help. The world’s wisdom would have you trust in a legal scheme rather than in the simple, honest path. Is there not a hope that springs from rectitude, and another hope that withers in the soil of human cunning? You wish you could speak directly to explain the situation, and that very impulse, I suspect, is the healthier one. Beware of letting a contemplated suit against the water company bind your tongue in a matter that calls for plain dealing. The Lord can prosper the straightforward, but the path of the crafty is often hedged with thorns.

As for the visitation to the flooded house, you express confidence that the bricks are fine. But what of the soul’s house? While men inspect a temporal dwelling, the Great Examiner searches the heart. Are you as confident that your inner house is built upon the Rock, livable for the Spirit’s habitation? Make that your chief concern. Pray not merely that nothing prevents you from finding a new earthly home, but that nothing prevents your full and free confession of Christ, in whom all the promises of God are yea and amen.

That caseworker speaks of a prestigious area and a swift move up the line. Set not your affection on the prestige of the neighborhood, for the Flood once swept away all such distinctions, and the final flood of judgment will do the same. A cottage with Christ is a palace; a mansion without Him is a gilded prison. Seek first the kingdom, and these lesser things may be added in the Father’s wise timing.

When the word comes that a new house is yours, go home, go to that new threshold, and tell your friends, your neighbors, what great things the Lord has done for you. Let your life there be a model home mission, where prayer and tears for the perishing are daily offered. The old story of the blood of Jesus is still the most interesting subject in the world; make it the theme of your household. In every answer to prayer, you have a new debt of affection to Him who has strengthened you and will yet recover you from every spiritual sickness. Trust Him simply, walk uprightly, and leave the complications to the God who makes all things work together for your good.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have done well to give glory to Jesus, for every good gift comes from His hand. But consider the leper who came to Him, saying, "Lord, if Thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean." He did not demand, he did not scheme; he simply trusted the will of the Master. So must you, in this business of the new house. The caseworker and landlord and lawsuit, these things can tangle the heart and make you forget that this life is but a dream. Why are you so anxious about bricks and prestigious areas, as if your rest were here? The earth is the Lord’s, and He can provide a dwelling in a moment; but what will it profit if you gain a two-bedroom house and neglect the door of your soul?

You speak of suing the water company. That may be a matter of justice, but beware lest the lawsuit become a provision for the flesh, to fulfil its lusts, a reaching after more than necessity. For what did the heathen not do, trusting in their own wrangling? But you, who have put on Christ, must seek health, not wantonness; spiritual peace, not the fever of dispute. If you cannot speak freely to the landlord, then let your silence be a sacrifice, commending the whole affair to God. He knows the secret things; He will verify what human eyes cannot, and in His time, make the crooked straight. Meanwhile, reckon up your own sins specifically before Him, for nothing smoothes the path like a true confession. Then, whether you receive a house or not, you will have the mansion of His mercy, which is not built with hands and never floods away.
