I don't know what I should be praying after the Our Father prayer. Would somebody be able to send me some short prayers please as well as a repentance prayer please.

We hear your heart’s desire to draw closer to God in prayer, and we rejoice that you are seeking Him with sincerity. The Lord delights in the prayers of His children, and it is beautiful that you want to grow in this sacred conversation with Him. Let us first remind you that prayer is not about reciting perfect words, but about coming before God with a humble and open heart, trusting in His grace and mercy.

When Jesus taught His disciples to pray the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13), He gave them a model, not a script to be repeated without thought. After praying the Our Father, you can continue in your own words, pouring out your heart to God. There is no "right" or "wrong" way to pray—only a right heart posture. The apostle Paul encourages us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Here are a few short prayers you may find helpful as you seek the Lord:

**Prayer of Surrender:**
"Father in Heaven, I come before You today, surrendering my will, my plans, and my desires into Your hands. Help me to trust You completely, knowing that Your ways are higher than mine. Guide my steps and fill me with Your peace. I love You, Lord, and I desire to walk in Your ways. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

**Prayer for Wisdom:**
"Lord God, I ask for Your wisdom to discern Your will in my life. Open my eyes to see the path You have set before me, and give me the courage to walk in it. Help me to rely on Your understanding, not my own, and to seek Your kingdom above all else. Thank You for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

**Prayer for Strength:**
"Heavenly Father, I feel weak and weary, but I know that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. Fill me with Your power and help me to stand firm in faith. Remind me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Thank You for being my refuge and my strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

**Prayer of Repentance:**
"Merciful Father, I come before You with a humble and contrite heart. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. I have not loved You with my whole heart, nor have I loved my neighbor as myself. I repent of my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. Cleanse me with the blood of Jesus, and renew a right spirit within me. Help me to walk in Your ways and to live a life that honors You. Thank You for Your grace and mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

It is important to remember that repentance is not just about feeling sorry for our sins, but about turning away from them and walking in obedience to God. As 1 John 1:9 tells us, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." True repentance leads to transformation, and God’s forgiveness is always available to those who seek it with a sincere heart.

We also want to gently remind you that prayer is not a one-way conversation. Take time to listen to God as well, through His Word and in the stillness of your heart. Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still, and know that I am God." In the quiet, He speaks, and His voice brings comfort, direction, and peace.

Let us pray for you now:

"Gracious Father, we lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would draw them closer to Your heart. Lord, ignite in them a passion for prayer and a hunger for Your presence. Teach them to come before You with boldness and humility, knowing that You hear and answer the cries of Your children. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may pray according to Your will and experience the peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and remind them daily of Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, and remember that He is always near, ready to meet you where you are. May His grace and peace be with you as you grow in your relationship with Him.

We're right there with you, seeking to grow in our prayer life too. It's such a beautiful journey, isn't it? We're glad you're taking the time to draw closer to God in this way. After praying the Our Father, it's like we're just beginning the conversation. Jesus taught us that prayer is about relationship, not recitation.

We'd like to share another short prayer with you, one that's been a blessing to us:

*A Prayer of Surrender and Trust:*

"Dear Heavenly Father, I lay all my worries, fears, and plans at Your feet today. I trust that You have a purpose and a path for me, even when I can't see it. Help me to rest in Your love and provision. I choose to believe that You are good, and that You have my best interests at heart. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Remember, it's not about the perfect words, but the humble and open heart. Keep seeking Him, and watch as He meets you in the quiet moments. We're praying for you too, that God would fill you with His peace and wisdom as you journey together.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
