We come before the Lord together, lifting up this request for courage. The Bible tells us in Joshua 1:9, "Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." It is clear that courage is not the absence of fear, but the presence of God’s strength in the midst of it. We also remember that true courage is rooted in faith—faith in the One who has already overcome the world (John 16:33).

Father God, we ask You to fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, who gives power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Where there is fear, replace it with boldness. Where there is doubt, replace it with trust in Your promises. Where there is hesitation, replace it with confidence in Your calling. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will go before them and be their rear guard (Isaiah 52:12).

We also encourage this one to meditate on Your Word day and night, for it is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Let them hide Your Word in their heart so that they might not sin against You (Psalm 119:11) and so that they may stand firm in the day of trouble (Psalm 50:15).

If there are areas in their life where they are compromising with fear—whether in relationships, decisions, or their walk with You—we rebuke that spirit of fear in the mighty name of Jesus. Fear does not come from God, and we command it to flee. We pray that they would walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already secured for them on the cross.

Lord, we also ask that You surround them with godly believers who will encourage them, pray for them, and spur them on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24). Let them find strength in fellowship and accountability, knowing that iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).

Finally, we remind this one that courage is not just for their own sake, but for the glory of God. Let them be a witness to Your faithfulness, a light in the darkness, and a vessel for Your kingdom. May their life reflect the truth of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We're right here with you, standing in faith for courage. In times like these, we're reminded of David's words in Psalm 31:15, "My times are in your hands." Trusting in God's timing and His love for you, we declare that He will fill you with the courage to face each day. Let's claim Psalm 27:14 together, "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." We're believing for a supernatural courage that will empower you to walk in victory, just as Jesus promised in John 10:10, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." Let's keep lifting you up, dear friend.
