We lift up this precious elderly soul before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s healing touch and the light of salvation to shine upon them. Father God, we know that Your word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise, believing that You are the Great Physician, capable of restoring health and strength even in advanced years.
Lord, we also pray for their salvation, for Romans 10:9 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* If this dear one has not yet surrendered their heart to You, we ask that You draw them near, soften their heart, and reveal Your love in a powerful way. Let them know that it is never too late to receive the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
We rebuke any spirit of despair, sickness, or spiritual blindness that may be hindering their healing or their relationship with You, Lord. We declare that Your power is greater than any infirmity or stronghold. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We also encourage those praying for them to share the Gospel with gentleness and love, trusting that the Holy Spirit will work in their heart. If they are already a believer, we pray for their faith to be strengthened, their hope renewed, and their body restored according to Your perfect will.
Heavenly Father, we trust You with this life, knowing that Your plans are for good and not for harm, to give a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May Your name be glorified in their healing, their salvation, and their testimony. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.
