God, Thank you for this day. God, Thank you for the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit in my life, my sons and daughters life, my childrens life, my brothers and sisters life always. God, Thank you! God, I pray for the peace of Jerusalem always. God, I pray for America and all of her people. God, I pray for those on here, you know what we need before we ask. God, Thank you! Jesus, I pray for ### and ###, relationship and friendship please, we can grow closer together in mind, heart and soul, please! Jesus, I don’t even know if he even likes me, I know he said, he don’t want to be in a relationship with no one, because he is at his Moma’s house and he also said, you don’t know how I feel? Jesus, How does ### feel about me? Jesus, I don’t know, unless he tells me, I tell him, how I am in love with him, because that’s how I feel when I talk to him, and I am around him and when I am with him, and I feel scared and weak, when I have to leave him for a little while. Jesus, ### was a womanizer, he said, that’s basically all his daddy taught him, I pray he’s not like that with me, please! Jesus, I pray he can see and find something attractive, kind, loving, true, faithful, within me, that’s he’s drawn to, that he likes please! Jesus, I pray to move in with ### at his Moma’s house. Jesus, ###, said, that, his niece is moving into the house he is supposed to get when his Moma passes away. Jesus, I pray the renters can be removed and ### can move in, and I pray he asks me to move in with him. Jesus, I will still have my job, and I can help pay the bills. Jesus, I like going to ###'s house at night, when I get off of work. Jesus, Thank you! Jesus, I like going to stay with ### at night. Jesus, I pray ### and ### gets together, please and stays together. Jesus, I love him verily verily much! Jesus, Thank you for the time we have spent and gotten to know each other. Jesus, I like spending time with ###! Jesus, I pray ### tells me the truth about him always. Jesus, I pray I can come to ###'s house again tonight, please! We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for the day He has given and for the presence of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in our lives and the lives of our loved ones. We lift up the peace of Jerusalem and the people of America, asking for God’s protection, wisdom, and unity over these nations. We trust that the Lord knows the needs of every person here before we even ask, and we thank Him for His faithfulness.

However, we must address the concerns in this prayer request with truth and love, as Scripture calls us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). First, we see a deep longing for a relationship with someone who has expressed no desire for commitment, and we must examine whether this aligns with God’s design for relationships. The Bible tells us that love is patient, kind, and does not insist on its own way (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). It is clear that this person has communicated boundaries—he does not want a relationship, and we must respect that. Pursuing someone who has made their stance clear, especially when it involves moving into his home or pressuring him to change his beliefs, is not honoring to God or to the other person. We are called to love others as we love ourselves (Mark 12:31), and true love does not seek to control or manipulate.

The mention of spending nights together and desiring to move in with this man raises serious concerns about purity. Scripture is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Any physical or emotional intimacy outside of marriage is not pleasing to God and can lead to heartache and sin. We must rebuke the temptation to compromise in this area and instead seek godly relationships that honor the Lord. If this man is not a believer, we are also warned in 2 Corinthians 6:14 not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, as this can lead to spiritual conflict and distance from God.

We also notice the struggle with fear and weakness when apart from this man. While it is natural to feel affection, our identity and security must be rooted in Christ alone (Philippians 4:13). When we place our hope and joy in another person rather than in the Lord, we set ourselves up for disappointment and idolatry. We must guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23) and ensure that our love for others flows from our love for God, not as a replacement for Him.

Lastly, we see that this man does not believe in God, and we must pray for his salvation above all else. Our greatest desire for him should be that he comes to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior (1 Timothy 2:4). If he is not a believer, a romantic relationship with him will only lead to spiritual conflict and hinder your walk with the Lord. We must trust God’s timing and His plan, even when it is painful. The Lord may be protecting you from a relationship that would draw you away from Him.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, asking for Your wisdom and guidance in this situation. Lord, we lift up this sister to You, asking that You would draw her close to Your heart and remind her of Your unfailing love. Help her to find her security, identity, and joy in You alone, rather than in another person. Father, we ask that You would break any unhealthy attachments or idolatry in her heart and replace them with a deep dependence on You.

Lord, we pray for the man she has mentioned. We ask that You would open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel and soften his heart to receive Your love. If it is Your will, bring godly men into his life who can share the hope of Christ with him. Father, we also ask that You would protect this sister from any relationship that would lead her away from You. Give her the strength to honor You with her body, her heart, and her choices.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, desperation, or control in this situation. Instead, fill her with Your peace, patience, and trust in Your perfect plan. Help her to seek Your will above her own desires and to wait on You with hope. Lord, if this man is not the one You have for her, we ask that You would remove him from her life and bring someone who loves You and will lead her closer to You.

Father, we also ask that You would heal any wounds or insecurities that may be driving her to seek validation in this relationship. Fill her with Your love so that she can love others out of the overflow of Your love for her. Help her to walk in purity, wisdom, and faith, trusting that You have good plans for her future.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

We encourage you, dear sister, to seek the Lord with all your heart and to trust in His timing. Surrender this relationship to Him and ask Him to reveal His will for your life. Spend time in His Word and in prayer, allowing Him to fill the longings of your heart. If this man is not the one God has for you, trust that He has someone better—a godly man who will love you as Christ loves the church. Until then, focus on growing in your relationship with the Lord and serving Him with all your heart. He is faithful, and His plans for you are good.
