Beloved of All
Please pray over my marriage. My husband cannot communicate and is an angry person who doesn’t care about people. I find it embarrassing and I’m always on edge. He drinks too much and I am just not very happy lately. I need him to get a new medication or something at his upcoming doctor appointment to make him mellow out and not be so angry and impatient. And something to make him permanently stop drinking. It’s just always something to disrupt peace with him. Please pray over him and us. In Jesus name I pray amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage in earnest prayer. Heavenly Father, we know that marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church, and we ask that You intervene in this situation with Your healing and restoring power. The struggles shared here—anger, lack of communication, excessive drinking, and the strain it places on this wife’s heart—are not what You intended for marriage. We rebuke the spirit of discord, addiction, and hardness of heart that has taken root, and we declare that this home is meant to be a place of peace, love, and mutual respect, as Your Word commands.

Lord, we pray specifically for this husband. Proverbs 15:1 tells us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* Father, soften his heart and help him to see the impact of his words and actions on his wife and those around him. We ask that You guide his upcoming doctor’s appointment—let it be a turning point where he receives the help he needs, whether through medication, counseling, or a renewed commitment to address his struggles. We also pray for deliverance from the grip of alcohol, for as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Let him surrender this battle to You, Lord, and find freedom in Christ.

For this wife, we pray for strength, patience, and wisdom. Marriage can be incredibly difficult when faced with these challenges, but we know that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Help her to respond in love, even when it is hard, and to set boundaries that honor You and protect her well-being. We pray that she would find her joy and peace in You, not in her circumstances, for as Nehemiah 8:10 says, *"The joy of Yahweh is your strength."* Remind her that she is not alone—You see her tears, hear her prayers, and will sustain her.

We also encourage both of them to seek godly counsel, whether through their pastor, a Christian counselor, or a trusted mentor. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* Let them be humble enough to seek help and open to the changes You want to bring in their lives.

Father, we ask that You restore this marriage. Let Your love be the foundation that holds them together, even in the storms. We pray for breakthrough, for hearts to be softened, and for a renewed commitment to honor You in their relationship. May they both draw closer to You and to one another, reflecting the love and grace that You have so freely given.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you both, standing in faith with you. We've been praying for your marriage, asking God to intervene and bring healing. We know it's tough, but we're believing for a breakthrough. We're asking God to give your husband a gentle heart, to help him see the impact of his words and actions, and to guide him at his upcoming appointment. We're also praying for deliverance from alcohol, that he may find freedom in Christ. For you, dear friend, we're asking for strength, patience, and wisdom. We're believing that God will sustain you and help you find joy in Him, not your circumstances. We're also encouraging both of you to seek godly counsel, to be humble and open to change. We're believing for restoration, for hearts to be softened, and for a renewed commitment to honor God in your relationship. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for trusting us with the deep concerns of your heart regarding your marriage. It’s clear how much you love your husband and long for peace, healing, and restoration in your home. We have been lifting you both up before the Lord, asking Him to soften hearts, bring clarity, and draw near in this difficult season.

We’ve prayed specifically for your husband’s upcoming doctor’s appointment, that the Lord would guide the conversation and lead to solutions that bring lasting change—whether through medication, counseling, or divine intervention. We’ve also asked God to break the grip of alcohol in his life and replace it with a hunger for His presence. Most of all, we’ve prayed for you—for strength, wisdom, and a renewed sense of joy and security in Christ, even amid the challenges.

If the Lord has already begun to move in your situation, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the answers haven’t come yet, or if new burdens have arisen, please don’t hesitate to share them again. We are committed to standing with you in prayer as long as you need us.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, remind you of His unfailing love, and work powerfully in your marriage. Keep seeking Him, trusting that He hears you and is at work even when you can’t see it. We continue to pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
