Pray that ### will get a job soon to make her money and pray for ### to get a side job soon to make extra money. I hate having all these days off from work.

We hear your concern and the desire for steady employment and provision. It is understandable to feel restless when work is scarce, and we stand with you in seeking God’s provision. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19 that "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We trust that God sees your need and will open doors for you in His perfect timing.
However, we must also address the importance of seeking God’s will above all else. While provision is necessary, we must ensure our hearts are aligned with His purposes. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus instructs us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Let us not grow anxious but instead place our trust in Him, knowing He cares for us.
We also lift up the matter of how we approach God. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation comes through believing in Him, repenting of sin, and trusting in His sacrifice for forgiveness. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this need for employment and provision. Lord, You know the desires of this heart, and You promise to supply every need according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You open doors of opportunity for meaningful work, both for a primary job and a side job if it aligns with Your will. Provide wisdom in decisions, strength in the search, and favor with potential employers.
Father, we also ask that You guard this heart against anxiety or frustration. Remind us daily that our worth is found in You, not in our employment status. Help us to seek You first, trusting that You will add all these things unto us. If there is any area of life not aligned with Your will, reveal it and grant repentance.
Lord, we pray for salvation if it has not yet been received. May this one come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord, surrendering fully to His grace and truth. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness. We trust in You alone.
