We come before You, Heavenful Father, with hearts full of gratitude for Your mercy and grace that allows us to approach Your throne. We thank You for the gift of this new day and for the forgiveness of sins through the precious blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up this matter concerning the lot, seeking Your perfect will in every aspect, for we know that Your plans are to prosper and not to harm, to give hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, we ask for Your divine wisdom concerning whether to sell this property or not. Your Word tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). We trust in Your guidance, knowing that You hold all things in Your hands.
Father, if it is Your will for this lot to be sold, we pray that You would reveal the just and fair price according to Your wisdom. Help us to be good stewards of what You have entrusted to us, remembering that "the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness" (Psalm 24:1). We ask that You bring a buyer who is honest, fair, and led by Your Spirit, one who will honor You in this transaction.
We also pray for the provision of all necessary funds for fencing, ejectment fees, security guards, and other miscellaneous expenses. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust in Your promise that "my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings so that there will not be room enough to receive them (Malachi 3:10).
Lord, we ask that You soften the hearts of the informal settlers, that they may respond with understanding and peace rather than resistance or violence. We pray for their well-being and that they too may come to know Your love and provision. Grant wisdom to all involved in this process, that justice and mercy may prevail, for "blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9).
We also seek Your intervention concerning the portion of the lot taken by the government for road widening. We ask that You move in the hearts of those in authority to provide just compensation and that the process of collecting it would be smooth and without hindrance. Your Word declares, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1).
Father, we pray for a smooth transaction upon selling, that every step would be ordered by You and that there would be no delays, complications, or deceit. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, greed, or strife that may seek to disrupt this process. We declare that no weapon formed against this matter shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promises, trusting in Your perfect timing and will.
Heavenly Father, we commit this entire situation into Your hands, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified in every aspect of this matter. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
