We lift our hearts together in prayer for the world, acknowledging that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We come before You, Lord, with humble and contrite spirits, seeking Your mercy, grace, and intervention for the nations.
Father God, we pray for the lost and the broken, that they may come to know Your Son, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior. Open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and soften their hearts to receive the gospel message. We ask that You would send forth laborers into the harvest fields, equipping and empowering Your people to share the good news of salvation with boldness and love (Matthew 9:37-38).
Lord, we rebuke the forces of darkness that seek to blind the minds of unbelievers and hinder the spread of the gospel. We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). We pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon the earth, that many would be drawn to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
We intercede for the leaders of the nations, asking that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and a fear of the Lord. May they govern with justice, righteousness, and integrity, seeking the welfare of their people (Proverbs 29:2). We pray for peace in the midst of conflict, for healing in the midst of brokenness, and for unity in the midst of division.
Father, we lift up those who are suffering from persecution, oppression, and injustice. Strengthen them with Your might and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would bring comfort to the afflicted, hope to the despairing, and provision to the needy.
We pray for the church worldwide, that we would be a shining light in the darkness, salt and light to the world (Matthew 5:13-16). Help us to walk in unity, love, and humility, bearing one another's burdens and encouraging one another in the faith (Galatians 6:2). May we be a people who are known by our love for You and for one another (John 13:35).
Lord, we ask that You would revive Your church and awaken the hearts of Your people. Stir within us a passion for prayer, worship, and the study of Your Word. May we be a people who are fully surrendered to Your will and purposes, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
We pray for the fulfillment of Your promises and the advancement of Your kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. May Your will be done in every nation, every city, and every heart. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over all, and we look forward to the day when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11).
