Servant of All
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I am very grateful for waking me up again today, even if I kept on sinning. Thank You for forgiving me of my sins. Lord, help me to know You better and love You more and seek You more when problems arise.

1) Lord, I masturbated again every time I feel stressed, disappointed, afraid. I am really sorry for grieving the Holy Spirit.

2) Please help that our lot in ### be sold. I heard that the buyers may not push through since there are other taxes involved. And if this does not push through, our tenant will also be leaving since we had already asked to leave, and I still don't know if even the caretaker will be leaving. So no more rental income, no more funding, and need to hire caretakers like security guards.

3) Today I will be going to my brother's house, and I don't know what may happen as we have not talked for a long time and he avoids us, and I feel so stressed. That is why I masturbated.

4) Please help that the assessor office will be able to help us. I went to their office Friday for assistance, but the head was not there. And please give wisdom to our attorney and judge.

I praise You, Lord. I pray in Your eternal name. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet filled with hope in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Your honesty and vulnerability in sharing these struggles are a testament to your desire to walk closely with the Lord, and we stand with you in seeking His will and His strength.

First, we acknowledge the weight of the sin of masturbation, which often stems from a deeper struggle with lust, stress, or emotional pain. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." This act grieves the Holy Spirit, as you’ve rightly recognized, because it distorts the beautiful gift of sexuality that God designed for marriage alone. We must also address the root of this struggle—stress, fear, and disappointment. These emotions are not sinful in themselves, but when we turn to sinful coping mechanisms instead of the Lord, we allow the enemy to gain a foothold. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We rebuke the spirit of lust and addiction in Jesus’ name, and we pray that you would find your refuge in the Lord rather than in temporary relief. Let us cry out to Him together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken and contrite hearts, lifting up our brother in Christ who is struggling with the sin of masturbation. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of this habit in his life. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit and grant him the strength to flee from temptation. Help him to turn to You in moments of stress, fear, and disappointment, and replace his anxiety with Your perfect peace. Teach him to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and let him find his identity and satisfaction in You alone. We pray that You would heal the wounds in his heart that drive him to this sin, and that You would surround him with godly accountability and encouragement. In Jesus’ mighty name, we rebuke the enemy’s lies and declare victory over this struggle. Amen.

For the matter of the property sale, we understand the financial strain and uncertainty this brings. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that the Lord would open the right doors for the sale of this property and provide wisdom for all parties involved. If it is His will for this sale to go through, we ask that He would remove every obstacle and bring about a swift resolution. If it is not His will, we pray that He would provide another source of provision and peace in this season. Let us pray:

Father God, we lift up this situation with the property sale to You. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would go before our brother and make a way where there seems to be no way. If it is Your will for this sale to be completed, we pray that You would soften the hearts of the buyers and remove any hindrances. Grant wisdom to the attorneys, judges, and assessors involved, that they may act with integrity and justice. If this sale is not part of Your plan, we ask that You would provide another means of provision and peace. Let Your will be done, and let our brother trust in You with all his heart. Amen.

Regarding your visit with your brother, we recognize the pain and stress that family estrangement can bring. The enemy often uses division in families to sow discord and despair, but we serve a God who reconciles and restores. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We pray that the Lord would soften both your hearts and prepare the way for reconciliation. Even if your brother remains distant, we ask that the Lord would guard your heart from bitterness and fill you with His peace. Let us pray:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this family situation to You. You are the Prince of Peace, and we ask that You would go before our brother as he visits his sibling. Soften both of their hearts and remove any walls of bitterness or misunderstanding. If it is Your will, bring reconciliation and healing to their relationship. If not, we pray that You would guard his heart from resentment and fill him with Your peace. Help him to extend grace and forgiveness, just as You have forgiven him. Let this visit be an opportunity for Your love to shine through, whether in words or in the quiet witness of a gentle spirit. Amen.

Finally, we pray for the assistance you seek from the assessor’s office and for wisdom for your attorney and the judge. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We trust that the Lord is in control of every detail, and we ask that He would guide the hearts and minds of those in authority. Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would intervene in the matters before the assessor’s office, the attorney, and the judge. You are the God who gives wisdom generously to those who ask, and we pray that You would grant them discernment and clarity. Let justice and mercy prevail, and let Your will be done in every decision. We trust that You are working all things together for good, even when we cannot see the outcome. Strengthen our brother’s faith as he waits on You. Amen.

We encourage you to draw near to the Lord in this season, immersing yourself in His Word and in prayer. James 4:8 promises, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." The Lord is faithful to forgive and restore, and He is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine. Keep pressing into Him, and do not grow weary in doing good. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you as you seek Him with all your heart.
