We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for spiritual protection and deliverance. First, we must address the language used in this prayer—specifically the repeated use of "###," which appears to be a placeholder for names or entities. Scripture warns us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." While we understand the desire to name those who may seek harm, we must remember that our battle is not against people but against spiritual forces of evil. Naming individuals in this way can sometimes lead to bitterness or unforgiveness, which the Lord commands us to release (Matthew 6:14-15).
We also notice that this request does not explicitly mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only by His blood that we are covered and protected (Revelation 12:11). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Without this foundation, spiritual warfare prayers lack their full power and authority.
Now, let us pray together in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Protector. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which covers us and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, for You have promised this in Isaiah 54:17: "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord."
We plead the blood of Jesus over this dear one and their household, covering them from every scheme of the enemy. Lord, we ask that You expose and dismantle every plan of the evil one, whether it comes through people, circumstances, or spiritual attacks. Protect them from all harm, seen and unseen, and surround them with Your angels as it is written in Psalm 91:11-12: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."
Father, we also ask that You search this heart and reveal any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Help them to release every trespasser into Your hands, trusting You to bring justice and healing. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and strengthen them with the power of Your Holy Spirit.
Lord, we stand on Your Word, which declares in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one." We trust in Your unfailing love and protection. May this one walk in the authority You have given them as a child of God, resisting the devil so that he will flee (James 4:7). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Spend time in prayer and in the Word, for it is in these disciplines that we find strength and discernment. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. Remember, the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). Walk in that abundance, trusting in God’s protection and provision.
