[Praying women]

Please pray for my marriage. My husband's contract renewal from his work was paused in between the renewal process after passing through many trials, which has caused mental strain on my husband and my family. My husband has been drinking a lot due to this and has been having suicidal thoughts throughout. When he drinks, he gets very aggressive and starts to argue and fight with me. Please pray for God to intervene and soften my husband's heart towards me as I am carrying our child. See me through God's eyes and treat me with love and respect despite his pride and give him godly wisdom to make the right decision and free him from temptation. Please pray for protection over our marriage physically, mentally, and spiritually and give me joy and peace to carry this pregnancy forward and have a healthy baby. God arise and make a way for me. Soften my husband's heart and teach him to be gentle with me, talk with love, kindness, and respect as I stand by through every situation. Teach him to love his wife, soften his heart towards you, me, and our daughter and unborn child. Protect our home from all evil.

Prayer for My Marriage

Heavenly Father,

Tonight, I come before You not as a perfect wife, but as a woman who is tired, broken, and still believing. You see the tears I hide behind my smile, the silence that covers the pain, and the love I’m still trying to hold on to even when it hurts.

Lord, You joined us together for a reason — please don’t let what we’ve built fall apart. Soften our hearts where pride has taken over. Teach us how to speak with love again, even when anger wants to take the lead. Shape my husband into a godly husband and father, Lord. Shape him into a godly man, rooted in Your truth and guided by Your Spirit.

Strengthen his heart to walk in integrity, righteousness, and wisdom. Teach him to lead with compassion and grace, reflecting Christ in all he does.

Father, I ask that You stir in his heart with a deep, abiding love for me, his wife. Help him to cherish, honor, and protect our marriage. Let him see me as his God-ordained covenant partner, his soulmate, and his greatest earthly gift.

Strengthen our bond and fill our relationship with a bond that can never be broken, pierced, or destroyed.

I declare that any hindrance or influence seeking to harm our marriage must be removed in Jesus’ name. Cast out any strange woman or temptation that tries to invade his heart or mind. Guard his thoughts and desires, keeping him faithful and pure. Place a hedge of protection around him, our marriage, and our family.

Lay upon his heart the accountability of a husband and reveal to him the responsibility to fulfil that commitment.

Expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy. Let no weapon formed against us prosper. Surround my husband with godly counsel and shield him from deceit, manipulation, or confusion.

I trust You to strengthen, restore, and protect our marriage. I declare that we are one, united by Your divine plan, and that no force can separate what You have joined together.

Father, touch my husband’s heart. Help him see the woman who still stands beside him, praying for him, believing in him, even when it feels like he no longer sees me.

Lord, if there’s anything in me that’s adding to our pain, reveal it and help me change. Help us both heal — not from outside influences or people’s opinions, but through Your peace that passes understanding.

I still believe, Lord. Even when it’s hard. Even when it hurts. Even when I cry because I know that with You, broken things can bloom again.

We come before the throne of grace with you, dear sister, lifting up your marriage, your husband, and your precious family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your heartfelt cries have not gone unheard, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We stand with you in faith, believing that God will intervene and bring restoration, healing, and protection to your home.

Your husband is under tremendous spiritual attack, and the enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together. The stress of his job, the temptation of alcohol, and the lies of despair are weapons the devil uses to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your husband’s strength and shield (Psalm 28:7), and we pray that He will break the chains of addiction, anger, and suicidal thoughts that have taken hold. Alcohol is a deceiver, and its influence must be cast out in Jesus’ name. "Don’t you know that you are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are" (1 Corinthians 3:16-17). We rebuke the spirit of drunkenness and aggression, commanding it to flee from your husband and your home. The Lord will replace it with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

We also pray for your husband’s heart to be softened toward you, his wife, and toward the Lord. "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for her" (Ephesians 5:25). The Lord calls him to be a godly leader, a protector, and a provider—not through his own strength, but through the power of Christ in him. We ask that the Holy Spirit convict him of his responsibility to you, your daughter, and the child you carry. May he turn away from pride and turn toward humility, seeking the Lord’s wisdom above all else. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). Let him find his worth and identity in Christ alone, not in his job, his struggles, or his mistakes.

For you, dear sister, we pray for supernatural strength and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Carrying the weight of this trial while pregnant is a heavy burden, but the Lord sees your sacrifice and your faithfulness. He will sustain you. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30). We ask the Lord to surround you with His angels, to guard your heart and mind, and to give you rest even in the midst of this storm. You are not alone—the Lord is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also pray for your daughter and the unborn child you carry. May the Lord shield them from the stress and strife around them. Let your home be filled with the peace of Christ, even now. "All your children will be taught by the Lord, and your children’s peace will be great" (Isaiah 54:13). We declare that this season of trial will not define your family but will instead be a testimony of God’s faithfulness and redemption.

Finally, we urge you to continue standing in faith, even when it feels impossible. The Lord is working, even when you cannot see it. Cling to His promises and refuse to let go. "Let’s not get tired of doing what is good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up" (Galatians 6:9). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep believing that the God who started this good work in your marriage will complete it (Philippians 1:6).

We rebuke the enemy’s plans to destroy this family. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, for they are covered by the blood of Jesus. We declare that their marriage will be restored, their hearts will be healed, and their home will be a testimony of Your grace.

Lord, we trust in Your timing and Your ways. Give them patience to wait on You and faith to believe that You are working all things together for their good. Let them see Your hand moving in their lives, and let them give You all the glory.
