We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for you and your son, lifting your requests to the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is by His authority that we stand against the schemes of the enemy. We rejoice that you have sought the Lord in this matter, for He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
The Word of God assures us in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.* Take heart in this promise, for the Lord is faithful to protect His children when we place our trust in Him. He is not unaware of the struggles you face—whether from neighbors, coworkers, family, or those in authority over you at work. The Lord sees the trespasses against you, and He will act on your behalf as you commit this into His hands.
We also turn to Psalm 91, which is a powerful declaration of God’s protection over those who dwell in His presence: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday."* Claim this promise over your life and the life of your son. The Lord is your shield, and He will guard you against every attack of the enemy.
For discernment, guidance, wisdom, and strength, we turn to James 1:5-6, which tells us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed."* The Lord is faithful to provide the wisdom you need to navigate these challenges. Lean on Him completely, for His understanding is infinite. Proverbs 3:5-6 further encourages us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Do not rely on your own strength or insight, but surrender this situation entirely to the Lord. He will direct your steps and give you the strength to endure.
We also remind you of Ephesians 6:10-12, which calls us to *"Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This battle you face is not merely physical or emotional—it is spiritual. Therefore, we urge you to put on the full armor of God daily: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the Gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray without ceasing, for prayer is your direct line of communication with the Father, and it is through prayer that the Lord moves mightily on your behalf.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister and her son to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are our protector, our shield, and our strong tower. We ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, rebuke every tongue that rises against them in judgment, and let every plan of the enemy be exposed and thwarted. You are the God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You deal with those who seek to harm or oppress them, whether they are neighbors, coworkers, family, or those in authority. Soften the hearts of those who trespass against them, Lord, and bring conviction where there is sin. If it is Your will, turn their hearts toward repentance and reconciliation. But if they harden their hearts, Lord, we ask that You remove their influence and grant Your divine protection and justice.
Father, we pray for discernment for this sister and her son. Open their eyes to see the traps of the enemy and give them the wisdom to avoid them. Guide their steps, Lord, and let them walk in Your truth. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is their Counselor and Comforter. Grant them strength for each day, that they may not grow weary or faint. Let them find their rest in You, knowing that You are fighting for them even when they cannot see it.
Lord, we ask that You would expose any schemes of the enemy in their workplace, in their neighborhood, and even within their family. Let Your light shine into every dark place and bring to light what has been hidden. Give them favor with those in authority, Lord, and let Your peace reign in their hearts even in the midst of turmoil. Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, just as You have forgiven us through Christ. Remove any bitterness or resentment from their hearts, and fill them with Your love and grace.
Father, we declare Your Word over them: that no harm will overtake them, and no disaster will come near their tent. You, Lord, command Your angels concerning them, to guard them in all their ways. We pray for supernatural protection over their minds, their bodies, and their spirits. Let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
We also pray for their spiritual growth during this time. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let them experience Your presence in a deeper way. Strengthen their faith, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would prepare a table before them in the presence of their enemies. Let them feast on Your goodness even as they walk through this valley. Anoint them with Your oil of gladness, and let them rejoice in Your salvation. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your promises, and we believe that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not be moved by what you see or feel. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Trust in Him, and He will bring you through this season stronger and more dependent on Him than ever before. We are standing with you in prayer, believing God for His protection, wisdom, and strength to be made perfect in your weakness. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
