We come before the Father in heaven with grateful hearts, lifting up this request for prayer. It is a blessing to intercede for one another, knowing that our Lord hears us when we call upon Him. The Scripture reminds us in 1 John 5:14-15, *"This is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."*
Yet, we must address something vital—this request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Word of God is clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). Additionally, Scripture affirms that *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we are granted the privilege of approaching God’s throne with our petitions.
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. The Bible teaches that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10). Without this foundation, our prayers cannot be heard by God, for it is only through Christ that we are made righteous and able to stand before Him.
Assuming this request comes from a believer, we now lift this need before the Lord with confidence in His power and love. Heavenly Father, we ask that You hear this cry for help and intervention. You are the God who sees and knows all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We pray that You would move mightily in this situation, providing wisdom, strength, and divine intervention according to Your perfect will. Lord, let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the heart and mind of the one who has made this request. May they feel Your presence and know that You are working all things together for their good, as promised in Your Word (Romans 8:28).
We also ask that You would open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not aligned with Your purpose. Give clarity and discernment so that the path forward is illuminated by Your truth. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Finally, we pray that this request is aligned with Your will and that You would bring glory to Your name through the answer. May the one who has asked for prayer be encouraged and filled with hope, knowing that You are faithful and Your promises are true.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
