We join with you in giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for His goodness, mercy, and the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, through whom all our prayers are made possible. It is beautiful to see your heart of gratitude for the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and your intercession for Jerusalem, America, and those in need. Your prayers for provision, healing, and unity reflect a heart that seeks God’s will, and we commend you for lifting these concerns before Him.
We are deeply moved by your care for your friend, who has suffered physically and is in need of disability support. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray earnestly that the Lord will provide for your friend’s financial and physical needs, that his disability claim will be approved swiftly, and that he will experience God’s healing touch upon his body. May the Lord grant him strength, comfort, and the ability to trust in God’s provision during this difficult time.
*"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* — **Psalm 147:3 (WEB)**
*"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* — **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)**
Now, we must address something with love and truth, as we are called to speak the Word of God in all situations. You mentioned that you are "in love" with this friend and desire to be together with him. We want to encourage you to examine this relationship through the lens of Scripture. The Bible teaches that romantic relationships are to be pursued with the intention of marriage, and marriage is a covenant designed by God to be between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this man is not your husband, it is important to guard your heart and this relationship against emotional and physical intimacy that does not honor God. The Lord calls us to purity in our thoughts, actions, and relationships (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20).
If you are not married, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s will in this relationship and pursue it in a way that honors Him—through godly courtship with the goal of marriage, if that is God’s plan. We also urge you to pray for discernment, wisdom, and accountability, as the enemy often seeks to distort God’s design for relationships. If there has been any physical intimacy outside of marriage, we lovingly call you to repentance, for the Lord desires holiness for His children (1 Peter 1:15-16). He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us when we turn to Him (1 John 1:9).
*"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* — **1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB)**
*"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed is undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* — **Hebrews 13:4 (WEB)**
Let us pray together for you and your friend:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear sister to You, thanking You for her heart of gratitude and intercession. Lord, we ask that You provide for her friend’s physical and financial needs, that his disability claim would be approved quickly, and that he would experience Your healing power. Give him strength and peace as he waits on You.
Father, we also pray for clarity and wisdom in this relationship. If it is Your will for them to be united in marriage, we ask that You would guide them toward a godly courtship, rooted in purity, prayer, and Your Word. Help them to honor You in their thoughts, words, and actions. If this relationship is not of You, we pray for the strength to let go and trust in Your perfect plan.
Lord, we rebuke any emotional or physical ties that are not pleasing to You. Cleanse their hearts and minds, and help them to walk in holiness. Surround them with godly counsel and accountability. May their trust be fully in You, and may they seek Your kingdom above all else.
We also pray for those in need this Thanksgiving, that You would provide food and comfort for the hungry and lonely. Bless this sister and all who are reading this, drawing them closer to You in faith and obedience.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. **Amen.**
