Beloved of All
Hi, I’d really appreciate your prayers. My ### is autistic and mentally unwell. He’s been screaming and trying to interfere with my ###’s life insurance, which is meant to help us in case something happens to her. He doesn’t work, has never worked, and currently controls her bank account even though it isn’t his. He’s now talking about moving to ###, but has no plan to be self-sufficient. Please pray that Jesus Christ heals his mind, protects my ###, and that if this move does happen, it’s only if it will bring peace — not more instability. I’m exhausted and feeling overwhelmed. Thank you for praying for us. Jesus Christ help his travel to happen but with good intentions and to help us to have peace.

We lift you up in this deeply challenging season, and we are grieved to hear of the turmoil and exhaustion you are facing. The weight of caring for someone with such complex needs—while also navigating financial manipulation, emotional instability, and the threat of further upheaval—is immense. Yet we serve a God who is the Prince of Peace, the Healer of broken minds, and the Defender of the vulnerable. Let us turn to Him together, for apart from Christ, we can do nothing, but through Him, even the most impossible situations are subject to His sovereign will.

The Scriptures remind us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness that seek to steal, kill, and destroy (Ephesians 6:12). The behavior you describe—controlling finances that aren’t his, interfering with life insurance meant to protect your family, and the lack of self-sufficiency—reveals a spirit of entitlement, confusion, and possibly even oppression. While autism presents unique challenges, the patterns of manipulation and dependency you’ve shared are not of God. Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and we must pray for true liberation in this situation, whether through healing, conviction, or boundaries that reflect godly wisdom.

We also note your weariness, and we urge you: do not carry this burden alone. The Lord calls us to cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). If you have not already, seek wise, biblical counsel—whether from a pastor, a Christian counselor, or trusted believers who can help you establish healthy boundaries. Proverbs 22:3 tells us, "A prudent man sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it." It is not unloving to protect your family from financial or emotional harm. In fact, it is an act of stewardship and love to ensure that your household is not exploited.

As for the potential move, we pray for discernment. If this transition is of the Lord, He will make the path clear and provide the necessary resources. But if it is driven by avoidance, manipulation, or unrealistic expectations, we ask God to close the door firmly. Proverbs 16:9 says, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps." Let us trust Him to direct these steps—whether that means preventing the move entirely or using it to bring about repentance, responsibility, and peace.

Most importantly, we must pray for salvation and repentance if this individual does not know Christ. True transformation begins with a surrendered heart to Jesus. If he is a believer, we pray for conviction—because even as Christians, we are called to live responsibly, lovingly, and without exploiting others. 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 says, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work and eat their own bread."

Let us pray now with faith and boldness:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this weary sister and her family. Lord, You see the chaos, the exhaustion, and the emotional toll this situation has taken. We ask for Your supernatural peace to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we plead for the healing of this man’s mind—whether through medical intervention, divine touch, or both. You knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You alone can bring clarity where there is confusion.

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of manipulation, control, and dependency that is not of You. Break its power in Jesus’ name. Convict him of any sinful behavior, and lead him to repentance. If he does not know You, Lord, soften his heart to receive Your salvation. If he is a believer, stir his conscience to walk in obedience—taking responsibility for his life, releasing control over what is not his, and seeking to contribute rather than exploit.

Father, we ask for wisdom for our sister as she navigates this. Show her how to establish godly boundaries that protect her family without hardening her heart. Give her strength for each day, and surround her with Your people who can support and encourage her.

Regarding this potential move, Lord, we ask that Your will be done. If it is not Your plan, shut every door and expose any deceitful motives. If it is Your will, go before him and prepare the way—but only if it leads to true independence, peace, and godly growth. Do not let this transition bring further harm or instability.

Finally, Father, we pray for provision and protection over the life insurance and finances meant to care for this family. Guard them from theft, interference, or any scheme of the enemy. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear sister. The Lord has not forgotten you. Keep seeking Him, keep speaking truth in love, and trust that He is working even in the unseen. "Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up" (Galatians 6:9). We are praying with you.

We're right here with you, dear friend. We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're lifting you up in prayer, just as we've been lifted up in our own times of need.

We're asking God to wrap His loving arms around you, to give you strength and peace that surpasses understanding. We're praying for healing for your loved one, that God would touch their mind and bring clarity where there's confusion. We're asking God to guide their steps, to lead them to repentance if needed, and to fill them with His Holy Spirit.

We're also praying for wisdom for you, dear friend. We're asking God to show you how to set boundaries that protect your family, without hardening your heart. We're trusting that God will give you the strength you need for each day, and that He will surround you with His people to support and encourage you.

As for the potential move, we're asking God to make His will clear. If it's not His plan, we're praying that He would shut every door and expose any deceitful motives. If it is His will, we're asking that He would go before you and prepare the way, but only if it leads to true independence, peace, and godly growth.

We're also praying for provision and protection over your family's finances and life insurance. We trust that God is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we know that He will meet every need according to His riches in glory.

Please keep trusting in God, dear friend. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working even in the unseen. We're right here with you, praying with you, and believing with you for a breakthrough. Keep seeking Him, keep speaking truth in love, and trust that He is working all things together for your good and His glory.
