Jesus, I also, pray I can get the house, property and custody of ###, please. Jesus, I am getting a divorce for me, because umm tired of ###'s abuse, and I deserve to not be abused, it’s not because of anyone in particular, but, for myself. Jesus, I pray after my separation and divorce with ###, I can afford all the bills and pay them on time, and be able to afford everything me, my daughter, my son, and my mother needs, please. Jesus, If I get with ###, after that, than, we just get together, or we can stay as friends, his choice, and I’ll be alright with it, but, I am 46 years old, and needs to do something for myself and those I love. Jesus, Thank you! Jesus, I was told about pro bono, it’s where an attorney represents you for free, and you don’t have to pay the cost of anything, is what I need. Jesus, I pray for my friendship and relationship with you always, and the father, always. God, Thank you! God, I pray for those on here, you know what they need. God, I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen

We lift you up before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and truth, knowing that God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Your gratitude for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is a beautiful testament to your faith, and we join you in praying for the peace of Jerusalem and the people of America. These are prayers that align with God’s heart, and we ask Him to move mightily in these areas for His glory.

Now, let us address the weighty matters you’ve shared about your marriage and the steps you are taking. We hear the pain in your words—the abuse you’ve endured, the desire for safety and stability for yourself and your children, and the longing for a future free from harm. The Bible is clear that marriage is a covenant before God, and while divorce is not His original design, He acknowledges the brokenness of sin in this world. In Matthew 19:8-9, Jesus says, *"Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so. I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her when she is divorced commits adultery."* Yet, we also see in 1 Corinthians 7:15 that if an unbelieving spouse separates or if there is persistent unrepentant abuse, the believing spouse is not bound in such cases. Abuse is a grievous sin, and God does not desire for His children to remain in harm’s way. We pray that the Lord grants you wisdom, protection, and clarity as you navigate this difficult season. May He expose any deception, provide for your every need, and surround you with godly counsel.

However, we must address with love and urgency the conversations you are having with this other man while still married. Though you say nothing physical has occurred, the emotional connection you are fostering is dangerous and dishonors the marriage covenant you are still under. Jesus warns in Matthew 5:28, *"But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."* Even if your intentions feel innocent, this relationship is built on a foundation of broken vows and can easily lead to further sin. Your mother’s advice is wise—you must cut off all communication with this man immediately. Proverbs 4:23 says, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the source of life."* Guard your heart, sister, for the enemy seeks to exploit your vulnerability during this time. Repent of this emotional entanglement, and ask the Lord to purify your heart and mind. He is faithful to forgive and restore (1 John 1:9).

We also pray over the legal proceedings you face today. Ask the Lord to go before you as you obtain the divorce papers, and trust Him to protect your conversations from being used against you. Psalm 37:5-6 reminds us, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* We ask that the Lord grants you favor in the court, that He provides for your housing, property, and the custody of your children. He knows your financial needs, and we pray He opens doors for pro bono legal representation or other provisions you have not yet considered. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*

As for your future, we encourage you to seek the Lord first before pursuing any relationship. You are 46, and while the desire for companionship is understandable, now is the time to heal, to grow in your walk with Christ, and to trust Him with your future. Do not rush into another relationship, especially one that began under questionable circumstances. Psalm 37:4 says, *"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* Let your desire first and foremost be for Him. If marriage is His will for you again, He will bring a godly man into your life in His perfect timing—one who loves the Lord, cherishes you, and leads your family in righteousness. Until then, focus on being the woman of God He has called you to be.

Lastly, we rejoice that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Continue to cling to Him, to seek His face daily, and to find your identity in Christ alone. You are His beloved daughter, and He has a plan for your life—one of hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her burdens to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the pain she has endured, the abuse she has suffered, and the longing in her heart for peace and provision. We ask that You go before her today as she takes this step toward divorce. Grant her wisdom, Lord, and surround her with Your favor. Protect her from any legal repercussions, and provide for her housing, her children, and her financial needs. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory.

Father, we also ask for forgiveness and repentance regarding the emotional connection she has formed with this other man. Lord, break every ungodly tie, and convict her heart to turn away from this relationship completely. Purify her thoughts, renew her mind, and help her to guard her heart diligently. Remind her that her worth and fulfillment are found in You alone.

We pray for healing from the trauma of abuse, Lord. Restore her joy, her confidence, and her trust in You. Surround her with godly friends and mentors who will speak Your truth into her life. If it is Your will for her to marry again, prepare her heart and the heart of a godly man who will love her as Christ loves the church. Until then, help her to delight herself in You and to wait patiently for Your perfect timing.

Lord, we also lift up her children and her mother. Provide for them, protect them, and draw them closer to You. May this season be one where they see Your faithfulness and grow in their own walks with You.

Finally, Father, we thank You that she knows the power of praying in Jesus’ name. Strengthen her faith, fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and remind her daily that she is Your beloved child. Let her life be a testimony of Your grace, redemption, and restoration.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
