Beloved of All
I urgently need prayers for my family. My brother is struggling with mental illness and is constantly screaming and fighting with everyone, including our dad's lawyer, who is now my ###. As a result, my ### is considering stepping away from the case. My mom is feeling overwhelmed and upset. I don't know what else to say as my brother's condition worsens every day. I live in a different country, and he calls me all the time; it's difficult for me to work without being interrupted. Jesus Christ, please heal his mental health issues. We can't handle this situation anymore, and I pray that you soften my ###'s heart so he won't leave our late father's case.

We lift your family before the Lord in this time of deep distress, knowing that He is the God of all comfort and the One who heals the brokenhearted. Your brother’s struggle with mental illness is a heavy burden, and we grieve with you over the chaos and pain it has brought into your home. Yet we also stand firm in the truth that nothing is impossible with God, and He is able to bring peace where there is turmoil, healing where there is brokenness, and wisdom where there is confusion.

The Scripture reminds us in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Your brother’s mind may be tormented, but God sees his suffering and is not distant from it. We also take heart in **2 Corinthians 12:9**, where the Lord tells Paul, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* Even in this weakness, God’s strength can be displayed—whether through healing, through the support of medical professionals, or through the supernatural peace that passes understanding.

We must also address the spiritual reality of this battle. Mental illness can have physical and emotional roots, but we know from **Ephesians 6:12** that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness. If there are any ungodly influences—whether generational sins, unconfessed bitterness, or even occult involvement in your brother’s life or family history—these must be brought into the light and renounced in the name of Jesus. We command every spirit of confusion, violence, and torment to be silenced and bound in Jesus’ name, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would bring conviction where there is sin and freedom where there is bondage.

To your mother, we speak **Philippians 4:6-7**: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* The Lord sees her exhaustion and her tears. We pray that He would surround her with His presence, give her supernatural strength, and provide godly support—whether through family, friends, or the church—to bear this burden with her.

Regarding the legal situation, we understand the urgency of your father’s case, but we must also recognize that no human solution—no lawyer, no court ruling—can bring true peace apart from God’s intervention. We pray that the Lord would soften this man’s heart, not merely to keep him on the case, but to use this situation for His glory. If this lawyer steps away, trust that God is still sovereign and will provide another way. **Proverbs 3:5-6** tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Do not let fear dictate your steps; instead, seek the Lord’s wisdom in how to proceed, whether through legal counsel, medical intervention, or spiritual warfare.

To you, dear sibling, carrying this weight from afar is its own kind of suffering. The constant interruptions and emotional toll are real, but we encourage you to set healthy boundaries where possible. It is not unkind to protect your own well-being so that you can continue to work, pray, and support your family effectively. **Galatians 6:2** tells us to *"Bear one another’s burdens,"* but this does not mean enabling destructive behavior or neglecting your own responsibilities. Pray about practical ways to manage these calls—whether through scheduled check-ins, involving other family members, or seeking professional guidance on how to support your brother without being overwhelmed.

Most importantly, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ in this request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (**Acts 4:12**). It is only through His authority that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (**Hebrews 4:16**). If your brother does not know Jesus as his Savior, we pray that this trial would drive him to the foot of the cross, where true healing begins. There is no pit so deep that God’s love cannot reach it, no mind so fractured that His Spirit cannot renew it.

Now, let us pray together:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting this family out of the depths of their distress. Lord, You see the torment in this brother’s mind—how he screams, how he fights, how he is trapped in a cycle of pain. We ask for Your healing touch upon his mind, body, and spirit. If there is any sin, any stronghold, any generational curse at work, we break its power in Jesus’ name and command it to flee. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding and lead him to the medical and spiritual help he needs.

Lord, we pray for this mother who is overwhelmed—comfort her, strengthen her, and surround her with Your presence. Give her wisdom to know how to respond to her son with both love and firmness, and provide her with godly support to bear this burden.

Father, we ask for Your intervention in the legal matters surrounding their late father’s estate. Soften the heart of this lawyer, but more than that, we ask that Your will be done. If this door closes, open another. Give this family clarity, wisdom, and favor in every decision they must make.

We also lift up the sibling who is carrying this weight from afar. Grant them discernment in how to support their brother without being consumed by the chaos. Show them when to listen, when to speak, and when to set boundaries for their own well-being.

Above all, Lord, we pray that this trial would draw each member of this family closer to You. If any do not know You as Savior, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let this season of suffering be a testament to Your faithfulness, Your healing, and Your redemption.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and despair in Jesus’ name. We declare that this family belongs to You, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Bring restoration, bring peace, and bring glory to Your name through this situation.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.*

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting your family before the Lord in these trying days. Your heartfelt plea has weighed heavily on our spirits, and we have continued to intercede for your brother’s mind, body, and soul—praying that God would bring supernatural peace to his tormented thoughts and restore clarity where there is confusion. We have also been earnestly asking the Lord to surround your mother with His comfort, strength, and wisdom as she navigates this overwhelming season, and to grant you the grace to endure the emotional and practical burdens of this situation, even from afar.

We know how exhausting it must be to carry this weight, especially when it feels like the storm is intensifying rather than subsiding. But we serve a God who specializes in the impossible, who sees the unseen battles raging in your brother’s mind and hears every cry of your heart. We are trusting that the Lord is at work, even now, in ways we cannot yet perceive—softening hearts, opening doors for professional and spiritual support, and making a way where there seems to be no way. Our prayers have also included your family’s legal situation, asking God to provide divine intervention, favor, and a resolution that aligns with His will and brings honor to His name.

If you’ve seen even the smallest glimmer of hope or an answer to prayer—whether in your brother’s demeanor, your mother’s strength, or a shift in the legal circumstances—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Sometimes, the enemy wants us to believe nothing is changing, but we know God is faithful, and we want to celebrate every victory with you, no matter how small. If, however, the struggle persists and the burden feels just as heavy, please don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request. We are here to stand with you in the long haul, to remind you that you are not alone, and to keep lifting your family to the One who holds all things together.

In the meantime, we encourage you to cling to the promise that Jesus is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He is not distant from your pain or unaware of your weariness. Lean on Him when the calls come at inconvenient hours, when the screaming feels unbearable, and when the future seems uncertain. He is your refuge, and He will sustain you. We are praying for an extra measure of His peace to guard your heart and mind as you wait for breakthrough, and for opportunities for you to rest and recharge, even amid the chaos.

Please know we are still here, still praying, and still believing for God’s miraculous touch on your brother’s life and your family’s circumstances. Do not lose heart. Our God is able, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun. We will continue to storm the gates of heaven on your behalf, trusting that He who began this good work in your family will bring it to completion in His perfect timing. Keep seeking Him, keep crying out to Him, and keep holding on to hope. We are with you, and more importantly, He is with you.

In Jesus’ mighty and matchless name.
