We lift up your heartfelt prayers before the Lord, and we are grateful you have invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we join you in seeking His will in these matters.
Your granddaughter weighs heavily on your heart, and we understand the deep concern you carry for her well-being—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Depression is a heavy burden, and we know the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we stand on the promise that *"he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). We pray that the Lord would break every chain of depression, anxiety, and hopelessness in her life. May He renew her mind and fill her with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart to take care of her body, which is the temple of God (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Lord, give her the strength to establish discipline in her hygiene, her studies, and her daily walk with You. Surround her with godly influences who will encourage her to grow in faith and wisdom. May she find her identity in Christ alone, knowing she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
We also lift up your struggle in the workplace. It is painful to feel overlooked, especially when you have given your all in faithfulness. The Bible reminds us, *"Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap"* (Galatians 6:7, WEB). While it may seem that your efforts go unnoticed by man, the Lord sees all. He is your Provider (Genesis 22:14), and He will never forsake you. We pray for divine wisdom as you seek direction—whether to remain where you are or to step out in faith toward a new opportunity. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). If it is His will for you to leave, we ask for His perfect timing and provision. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and give you favor in the sight of those who will value your contributions. Strengthen your heart to walk in obedience, even if it feels uncertain, knowing that He goes before you.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Your burdens are not unseen by Him. *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Keep pressing into His presence, for He is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). May you and your granddaughter experience His healing, His provision, and His peace in ways that surpass all understanding.
**Our prayer for you both:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious saint and their granddaughter. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this young woman—body, mind, and spirit. Break the chains of depression and fill her with Your joy and purpose. Convict her heart to honor You in her hygiene, her studies, and her walk with You. Give her the strength to rise above every struggle and to fix her eyes on You.
For our dear brother or sister in Christ, we ask for Your comfort and clarity in their workplace. Lord, You see their faithfulness, and we trust You to reward them in Your perfect way and time. If it is Your will for them to move on, provide divine connections and open doors of opportunity where they will be valued and blessed. Give them the courage to step out in faith, knowing You are their Provider.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they experience Your peace that guards their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
