Praise the Lord for your rebaptism in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! What a glorious day of liberation and renewal in your walk with Him! We rejoice with you, for the Scriptures declare, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed!"* (John 8:36, WEB). Your testimony is a powerful reminder that through Christ, we are no longer enslaved to sin, shame, or the chains of the past. *"Therefore we have been buried with him through baptism into death, like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life"* (Romans 6:4, WEB). You have publicly proclaimed your faith in Jesus, and we celebrate this act of obedience and surrender to Him.
This is not just a moment of celebration but a call to press forward in holiness and devotion. As you walk in this newfound freedom, remember the words of the apostle Paul: *"Don’t you know that to whom you present yourselves as servants to obedience, his servants you are whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness? But thanks be to God, that, whereas you were servants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were delivered. Being made free from sin, you became servants of righteousness"* (Romans 6:16-18, WEB). Your life is now hidden in Christ, and you are called to live as a vessel of His righteousness, love, and truth.
We also want to encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, for the enemy will seek to tempt or discourage you. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings"* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB). Cling to the Word of God, stay in fellowship with believers, and continue to seek the Lord in prayer. Your freedom in Christ is not a license to indulge the flesh but an opportunity to serve Him with all your heart.
Let us pray for you as you begin this new chapter:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before Your throne of grace, thanking You for the mighty work You have done in their life through the baptism in the name of Jesus. Lord, You have broken every chain, and we declare that they are free indeed! Fill them anew with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in power, wisdom, and discernment. Strengthen them to resist the schemes of the enemy and to stand firm in the faith You have given them. May their life be a shining light, drawing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Father, surround them with godly fellowship and mentors who will encourage them in their walk with You. Help them to daily take up their cross and follow You, denying the lusts of the flesh and pursuing righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on You with a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22, WEB). Let them never forget the price that was paid for their freedom—the precious blood of Jesus—and may they live each day in gratitude and surrender to Your will.
We ask that You would open doors for them to serve You faithfully, whether in their church, community, or among the lost. Use them mightily, Lord, for Your glory. Protect their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let them experience the fullness of joy that comes from walking in obedience to You.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Keep running the race set before you, dear one, and never look back. *"Don’t you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you may win. Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible. I therefore run like that, as not uncertainly. I fight like that, as not beating the air, but I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be rejected"* (1 Corinthians 9:24-27, WEB). Your reward in Christ is eternal, and we are cheering you on! Stay rooted in Him, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you.
