We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting you and your family in prayer, for we know that the name of Jesus is a strong tower where the righteous run and are safe (Proverbs 18:10). It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, and it is in His name alone that we find salvation, protection, and deliverance. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We are grateful you have brought this request before us, and we trust that God will move mightily on your behalf as you seek Him in truth and righteousness.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but our God is greater, and His power is made perfect in our weakness. We stand in agreement with you, declaring that no weapon formed against you or your family shall prosper, for *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The Lord is your shield and your exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1), and He will guard you from all evil.
We pray for a spirit of discernment to rest upon you and your family, that you may test every spirit and recognize the voice of the Lord above all others. *"But the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned"* (1 Corinthians 2:14, WEB). May the Holy Spirit fill you with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, guiding your steps and keeping you from the snares of the enemy. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB).
Father, we ask that You surround this family with Your heavenly host, placing a hedge of protection around them wherever they go. Guard their coming and going, their home, their work, and every place they set their feet. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart"* (Psalm 91:1-4, WEB). Let no harm come near them, and let every plan of the enemy be exposed and thwarted in Jesus’ name.
We also pray for strength in the midst of trials, for Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are in control. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Father, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy against this family. Let confusion, fear, and doubt flee from their presence, and let the light of Christ shine brightly in their lives. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). We declare that you are more than conquerors through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37), and nothing shall separate you from His love.
Finally, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, to put on the full armor of God daily, and to walk in obedience to His Word. *"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand"* (Ephesians 6:11-13, WEB).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
