We stand with you in prayer for your mother and the challenging situation she is facing. We commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus Christ in this situation and we are trusting God as you have mentioned. Let's bring this before the Lord together.
Firstly, we acknowledge God is sovereign and He cares for your mother and the difficulties she is facing. We can cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. Let's pray: Father, you tell us to cast our anxieties on you because you care for us. We bring our anxieties to you and lay them at your feet.
As your mother is doing her best to stay peaceful and avoid confrontation, let's remind us all of the exhortation found in Romans 12:18. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. We pray for wisdom, that she may know what depends on her and to act accordingly. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
We pray for God's protection over her and her finances, that He would thwart any attempts by your brother to gain unauthorized access. In the words of Nehemiah, we pray 'O God, strengthen my hands.' Nehemiah 6:9 WEB. May God confuse and distract him from these plans, and close the doors quietly as you have requested.
We also pray for peace, stability, and provision. We trust that God will provide all your mother's needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Let us remember that our God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 WEB. He is her shield and her very great reward.
We rebuke the spirit of control and manipulation at work in your brother. If he is not born again, we pray that through this, he would come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. If he is born again, we pray Him to deliver him from any oppression of the enemy that might be causing this behavior.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray for a solution to this heavy situation and that God would hold it. Amen.
