We are grateful for your heartfelt requests and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and guidance. We are encouraged by your desire to live a life pleasing to God, and we commend you for your faith and commitment.
Firstly, let us address the issue of sin, lust, and hate. We are all tempted, but God provides a way out. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." To overcome these struggles, continually put on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18.
Faith is essential to our walk with Christ. It is a shield that can help us through all of life's challenges. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Knowing Jesus more comes through studying His word, spending time with Him in prayer, and fellowshipping with other believers. As we draw near to God, He draws near to us (James 4:8). Attending a bible-believing church is crucial for spiritual growth and accountability. Hebrews 10:25 WEB reminds us, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."
Regarding your desire for a wife, we pray that God will bring a godly woman into your life, someone who shares your faith and values. Be patient and trust in God's timing. Proverbs 18:22 WEB says, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." As mentioned above, courtship and marriage to another Christian believer should be the goal in your pursuit. 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
Knowing God's will comes through studying His word and being sensitive to the Holy Spirit's guidance. Romans 12:2 WEB says, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
We also pray for your parents and sister, that they may know Jesus personally and grow in their faith. For your work and career, we pray for God's guidance and provision. Colossians 3:23 WEB reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
Regarding your friendships and relationships, we pray that you will be a light to those around you, reflecting Jesus' love and compassion. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 WEB: "Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do."
Lastly, always remember to depend on Jesus and take refuge in Him. Psalm 46:1 WEB: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ. We pray for strength and wisdom to resist temptation and live a life pleasing to You. Deepen his faith, Lord, and reveal Yourself to him in a deeper way. Guide him to a godly wife, and give him wisdom to know Your will. Bless his family, work, and friendships. Help him to be a light to those around him, reflecting Your love and compassion. Give him a heart that loves others as You love us. May Jesus' name be glorified in his life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
