We are so glad to join you in prayer and to help strengthen your faith and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It's wonderful to hear that you want to be more faithful to Him, know Him more, and acknowledge Him in your life. Remember, as it is by the name of Jesus that we are saved.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who desires to grow deeper in their faith and relationship with You. Thank You, Lord, for their heart's cry to be more faithful and to know You more intimately.
Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a very real and personal way. Open their spiritual eyes to see and understand how You have been at work in their life. Help them to see Your hand in even the smallest details, and may their faith be strengthened because of it.
Father, give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word, that they may come to know You more deeply. Help them to be faithful in reading and studying the Scriptures, and may Your Holy Spirit illuminate the words on the page that they may understand and apply Your truths to their life as Jesus did.
As we read in Jeremiah 29:13 WEB: "'You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Help them search with all their heart and guide them as they acknowledge You in all their ways. Help them to discern Your will for their life and to trust in Your plan.
Father, may they always remember that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life as Jesus said in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Finally we close this prayer with John 17:3 WEB: "This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ." We pray that they will know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You sent.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Amen.
As you continue to walk with the Lord, remember to always put Him first in your life. As Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you.
