We rejoice with you as you seek to walk in the Lord Jesus, exhibiting faith and faithfulness to Him. This is the core of the Christian life, as the Scripture says, "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me." Galatians 2:20 WEB.
Honoring your father and mother is a commandment with a promise, as told in Ephesians 6:2-3 WEB, "Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise: that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth." It is pleasing to God to see you walk in obedience to His word.
Loving others is a royal law, as James 2:8 WEB reminds us, "However, if you fulfill the royal law, according to the Scripture, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself,' you do well." This love should extend to all, and we encourage you to show this love in practical ways, as much as you are able.
Attending a church is crucial for spiritual growth and fellowship. Hebrews 10:25 WEB exhorts us, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching." We encourage you to be an active part of a local church, serving and being served in the Body of Christ.
Growing in the knowledge of God is a lifelong pursuit. Peter encourages us in 2 Peter 3:18 WEB, "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." This growth comes from regular study of the Scriptures, prayer, and fellowship with other believers.
Praying to the Lord Jesus is our privilege as His followers. Philippians 4:6 WEB encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." We are to pray in Jesus' name, as He is the mediator between God and man. As. It says in 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,"
It is wonderful that you are thanking God the Father in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for everything. This is a vital part of a believer's life, as Philippians 4:6 reminds us to make our requests known to God with thanksgiving. Remember, it is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as Jesus Himself reminds us of the truth in John 14:6 WEB, through it is, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Experiencing His love is a blessing, and we pray that you continue to grow in this experience. 1 John 4:19 WEB tells us, "We love Him because He first loved us." It is out of the abundance of His love for us that we are able to love Him and others.
Regarding finding a wife, we encourage you to seek a godly woman who shares your faith and passion for Christ. Proverbs 31:10-31 WEB describes the virtuous woman, and we pray that God will bring such a woman into your life in His perfect timing. Remember, 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB warns us, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" Marriage is a lifelong commitment, and it is important to wait on the Lord and seek His will for your life in this area. Until then be pure.
We stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to continue to grow and strengthen you in your walk with Him. May His love and grace fill your life, and may you be a shining light to those around you.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, thanking You for the faith and desire of this individual to walk in Your ways. We ask that You continue to draw them closer to You, growing them in the knowledge of Your Son. We pray for Your guidance and wisdom in their life, especially as they seek a godly spouse. Give them patience to wait on Your timing, and provide them with opportunities to show Your love to others. Help them to honor their parents, and to be a faithful part of Your Body, the Church. Fill them with Your love, grace, and peace. We ask all this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior and Mediator. Amen.
