Prayers with me

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Family, No move in finding somewhere to live yet, and now the neighbours are there all the time making a noise and smoking and they have a van blocking the view and light, so now there's noise and lack of privacy on all four sides of me. The room has basic furniture and I really need a little table, please pray for that. I am close to starting in self-employment, please pray that I can get the form and do that, I will be doing that in the next few days or early next week but work will take time, and there is very little money indeed this week. Help me with a letter, I am asking for forgiveness from someone but also asking them not to do the things that caused me harm. In Jesus' Name, Amen

Self-Slaughter
The Battle for Bread
Sparrows Divinely Fed
We join with you in prayer and we bring each of these burdens before our Father together in Jesus name, thankful that you have come in His name for it is only through Him we have access to God.

We hear how heavy this season feels with no movement yet in finding somewhere to live, and now surrounded on all four sides by noise and lack of privacy, with neighbours close by smoking and a van blocking your view and light, and we know how wearing that constant disturbance can be. We pray for your peace and for a place of rest. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and we ask Him to be your shelter right where you are and to open the right door in His timing for a new home. We pray He will give you favor with those who manage housing, and that He will provide a quiet place with light and privacy where you can dwell in peace. We also pray for your neighbours, that the Lord would soften hearts and bring consideration, and we pray He will guard your heart from irritation and help you to live at peace as much as it depends on you. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. We ask too that you would be able to love and pray for those around you even when it is difficult, as Jesus taught us, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44.

We bring before the Lord your practical needs, even the little table you need for your room with its basic furniture. He sees and cares about even small details, and we pray He will provide it in an unexpected way, perhaps through provision or a kind gift. We also lift up your financial need this week when money is very little. We are reminded that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that if we seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness, all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We pray for daily bread this week, for wisdom in stewardship, and for peace as you wait. We join you in praying for the self employment step, that you will be able to obtain the form without hindrance in the next few days and complete it well. We pray for diligence and for God to establish the work of your hands. Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established Proverbs 16:3. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We know this work will take time to grow, so we pray for patience, for clients or opportunities, and for the Lord to make your path clear and to provide while the work builds.

We also lift up the letter you are writing where you are asking for forgiveness and also asking that the person not continue the things that caused you harm. That is a humble and courageous step, to both own what is yours and to speak truth in love. We pray the Lord gives you words that are gentle and clear, seasoned with grace, and that He prepares the heart of the one receiving it. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32, and speaking truth in love Ephesians 4:15, we pray you can extend forgiveness as Christ has forgiven us while also setting a healthy and biblical boundary so that harm is not repeated. We pray for reconciliation where possible, for healing from the hurt you have carried, and for wisdom to know how to move forward whether the response is welcoming or not.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You for our brother or sister who seeks You in Jesus name. We ask You to provide a home in Your perfect timing, to quiet the noise around them and to give them light and air and privacy again. Provide the small table that is needed and the finances for this week, and let Your provision be a testimony of Your care. Give favor and clarity with the self employment form and bless the work of their hands in the coming months, establishing each step. Grant wisdom and grace for the letter, that it would bring healing and clear understanding, and guard both hearts with Your peace which surpasses all understanding. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We trust You for all these things and we wait expectantly for Your good will to be done, in Jesus name, Amen.

We hear how hemmed in you feel right now, with pressure on every side at home and also with money and work. To have noise and smoke nearby, a van blocking light and view, and little privacy when you are already waiting for a more suitable place to live would wear anyone down, especially with only basic furniture in the room.

We are praying with you for all you named, especially for peace where you are now and for the Lord to open the right next place to live, and for daily provision while you get started in self-employment.

A couple of small thoughts that might steady the next few days. For the letter you mentioned, it often helps to keep it brief and separate the two parts clearly, a sincere apology for your part, and then a calm, specific request for what you need to be different going forward so harm is not repeated. If you can, ask one trusted, level-headed person to read it before you send it just to check the tone comes across as gentle and clear. For the form, it may help to set one fixed time in the next day or two to collect or download it, and if any wording is confusing your local Citizens Advice or job centre can often walk through it with you for free. For the table, local charity shops or community giveaway groups sometimes have a small one available at very low cost.

Father, we lift our friend to You in this tight season. Bring peace into that room, wisdom for the letter and for the form, provision for this week, and guidance toward work and a quieter home where there is light and rest. Lead each next step. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have brought your burden before the Lord and have remembered you in prayer, for He knows the straitness of your dwelling, the trial of noise on every side, the smoke, the van that steals light and view, and the loss of privacy which makes the heart weary.

We have asked the Lord to make a way for you to find a more suitable habitation in His good time, and meanwhile to be your shelter and your quiet habitation within. We have prayed that He who numbers the hairs of your head would give you patience under this daily pressure, and grace to show kindness even to those whose nearness tries you, while we ask Him to restrain what harms you and to grant you intervals of peace.

Concerning your room and your need of a little table, and the very small provision of money this week, we have asked our Father who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows to supply what you need. He owns the cattle upon a thousand hills, and nothing is too small for His care. We have prayed also for your step into self employment, that the Lord would prosper the work of your hands, grant you favour in obtaining the form, wisdom to complete it aright in the next few days, and patience as the work slowly bears fruit. May He keep you from anxiety and teach you to live by faith upon His daily bread.

Touching your letter, we would point you to that blessed truth which the Scripture proclaims, There is forgiveness with Thee. It is a divine forgiveness, I even I am He that blotteth out thy transgressions, surprising in its freeness, complete in its extent, and eternal in its continuance. If you tremble under a sense of your own need of pardon, look to Jesus Christ alone, for there is forgiveness with God only through His blood, and whosoever confesses and trusts Him finds the debt wholly blotted out, as though it had never been. That forgiveness you may have now, whatever your past has been, for where God draws no limit we must not draw any.

And as you have received such great forgiveness, so you are called to forgive even as Christ forgave you. This does not mean that you must call evil good, or pretend that harm has not been done. It is right, in meekness and truth, to seek forgiveness where you have offended, and also to entreat another with love not to continue in what has caused you harm. Forgiveness from the heart can dwell with a faithful and gentle warning against sin, for true love seeks not to be avenged but to see the other walk in holiness. We have prayed that the Lord would give you words seasoned with grace and truth for this letter, that it may be clear, humble, and firm, and that whether the response be kind or otherwise, your conscience may be at peace before God.

We now commend you to Him who is able to keep you.

O Lord our God, look upon Thy servant in this narrow place. Provide a table and all that is needful, open the door to honest labour, give wisdom for every form and letter, guard this dear one from bitterness, and let Thy forgiveness, full and free through Jesus Christ Thy Son, be the comfort and pattern of his heart. Give quietness within though noise be without, and let Thy presence be his privacy and light until Thou shalt enlarge his dwelling. Hear us for Jesus sake, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
