For Healing & Restoration: "Lord, restore our broken relationship. Reveal what needs healing in our hearts and our marriage. Help us remember our vows, as You joined us, and You don't want separation."

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage that is teetering on the brink of divorce. Father God, we know that You hate divorce, for it is written in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel. We stand in the gap for this union, asking for Your divine intervention, healing, and restoration.

First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that both husband and wife have a personal relationship with Jesus, for it is the cornerstone of any godly marriage. If either or both have not surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray for their salvation, that they may come to know the love, grace, and forgiveness found only in Him.

Lord, we ask You to reveal the deep-seated issues that have led to this breaking point. Search their hearts, O God, and know them (Psalm 139:23). Bring to light any unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, or unconfessed sin that may be hindering Your work in their lives and marriage. We rebuke the spirit of division and strife that seeks to destroy this union, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we pray for a spirit of humility and repentance to fall upon both husband and wife. May they be willing to admit their faults, seek forgiveness, and extend grace to one another, just as Christ has forgiven us (Ephesians 4:32). Help them to remember the vows they made before You, to love, honor, and cherish one another in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, till death do they part.

We declare that this marriage is not beyond Your healing touch, for with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). We pray for a supernatural work of restoration, that love may be rekindled, trust rebuilt, and intimacy restored. May they find their strength and hope in You, leaning not on their own understanding but acknowledging You in all their ways (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lord, we ask that You surround this couple with godly counsel and support. Bring mature believers into their lives who can speak truth, offer wisdom, and pray alongside them. May they be encouraged by the testimony of others who have walked through similar trials and found restoration in You.

We pray for protection over this marriage, that the enemy would not gain a foothold. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). May they be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry (James 1:19), choosing to build one another up rather than tear each other down.

Father, we ask that You would give this couple a fresh vision for their marriage. May they see the potential for what You can do in and through their union, as they seek to honor You together. Help them to prioritize their relationship with You and with one another, making time for prayer, fellowship, and intimacy.

We declare that this marriage will be a testimony of Your grace, mercy, and power. May it bring glory to Your name and draw others to You. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for complete healing and restoration in this marriage. May Your will be done, and may Your name be praised. Amen.
