Beloved of All
We have heard your request and we join with you in prayer to the Lord for your healing.
We know how heavy this burden has felt since birth, to desire to speak fluently and to feel held back by your tongue. Be assured that God hears you even now. He does not measure your prayer by fluency of speech but by the faith of your heart. As the Scripture teaches, even when the tongue falters, the understanding and the heart can still cry out to Him, and He who became man for us and took our weakness upon Himself knows your need with perfect compassion.
We pray for you now in the name of Jesus Christ, our great Healer. Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You. You formed the tongue and You give speech. You showed Your power when You helped Moses who was slow of speech, and You still give gifts of healing by Your Spirit according to Your will. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would touch this tongue, loosen what is bound, and grant clear and fluent speech. Lay Your healing hand upon him and grant what is best for his good and for Your glory. If it be Your will to heal at once, we ask for that mercy. If You lead through a slower path, give patience and strength each day, little by little, and let Your grace be evident in the process.
Remember also that your tongue is given to lay hold of the knees of God in prayer, and God hears the groaning of the heart even when words come with difficulty. Do not be discouraged from praying because of stammering. Continue to come to Him, to confess your trust in Christ, to thank Him, and to ask Him for help. Keep your mouth from discouragement and keep it exercised in prayer, thanksgiving, and praise, for in that way the soul is strengthened and the grace of God draws near.
We will continue to remember you in prayer, asking the Lord to grant you healing, confidence, and peace, and to use your voice, however He restores it, for His glory. May the Lord grant you comfort, may He perfect His strength in your weakness, and may you know that His love for you in Christ is sure. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
