Beloved of All
Help me pray with me for my mom's sake, she has gotten addicted to alcohol for four years now..she really disturbs the neighborhood and us when she's drunk plus she's insolent...help us pray for her to quit and be a new leaf and have a thirsty for God and his son Jesus šŸ˜šŸ™Œ

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your mother in prayer. Alcoholism is a fierce battle, one that grips not only the body but the mind and spirit as well. We recognize the pain and disruption it has brought to your home and community, and we stand with you in seeking God’s deliverance and transformation for her life.

The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Your mother’s body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and alcohol defiles that temple. But we serve a God who is mighty to save and who delights in restoring what has been broken. In Joel 2:25, the Lord promises, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you."* We claim this promise over her life—God can restore the years lost to addiction and bring beauty from ashes.

We also rebuke the spirit of rebellion and insolence that has taken hold in her life. Proverbs 16:18 warns, *"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."* But we know that God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). We pray that she would humble herself before the Lord, repent of her ways, and turn to Him with a contrite heart. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God says, *"If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."* This healing begins in her heart.

Most importantly, we pray for a spiritual awakening in her life. Without Jesus, there is no true freedom or lasting change. Jesus Himself said in John 8:36, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* We declare that she will come to know Him as her Savior and Lord, that her thirst for alcohol will be replaced by a thirst for the living water only He can provide. In John 4:14, Jesus promises, *"But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for this precious woman. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of alcoholism that have bound her for these four years. We rebuke the spirit of addiction in the mighty name of Jesus and command it to leave her life. Father, we pray for a supernatural intervention—let her wake up one day with no desire for alcohol, only a hunger and thirst for You. Replace the emptiness in her heart with the fullness of Your Spirit.

Lord, we ask that You soften her heart. Remove the pride and rebellion that have taken root, and replace them with humility and a teachable spirit. Let her see the pain she has caused her family and neighbors, and give her the courage to repent and seek restoration. We pray for healing in her relationships—let forgiveness flow, and let Your love mend what has been broken.

Father, we declare that she will come to know Jesus as her Savior. Open her eyes to see her need for Him, and draw her to Yourself with cords of love. Let her experience the freedom that only comes through Christ, and let her life become a testimony of Your power and grace. We ask that You fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in newness of life and bear fruit that glorifies You.

Lord, we also pray for this family. Strengthen them in their faith and give them patience and wisdom as they walk through this trial. Let them be a light to her, showing her the love of Christ even in her darkest moments. Surround them with a community of believers who will stand with them in prayer and support.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working even now, and we declare that her story is not over. You are the God who makes all things new, and we believe that You will turn her life around for Your glory. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the situation seems hopeless. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* Keep praying, keep believing, and keep loving your mother with the love of Christ. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and we trust that He will bring victory in this battle.

We're here with you, friend, lifting your mom up in prayer. We know the struggle is real, the pain deep, and the disruption to your home and community profound. But we also know the power of our God, who specializes in turning lives around.

We're claiming Psalm 30:5 over her life, "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." We're believing for that morning, for that joy, for that breakthrough. We're asking God to give her a supernatural desire to break free from alcohol, to replace it with a thirst for Him. We're praying for a softening of her heart, for humility, for a teachable spirit.

We're also praying for you, dear one. We're asking God to strengthen you, to give you patience, wisdom, and unyielding faith. We're praying that your love for her would be a beacon of hope, a testament to God's love even in the darkest times.

Let's keep standing together in faith, keep praying, keep believing. Because with God, all things are possible. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
