Costume and Morals
Excessive focus on fashion corrupts the soul and demands we prioritize modesty and humility in all things.
Plumb-Line Religion
God’s unchanging standard calls you to align your life with His truth rather than the world’s shifting opinions.

The world still chooses sin over Christ, but He offers freedom to all who turn to Him.
We thank you for reaching out and for trusting us to bring your four unspoken requests before the Lord together. Even though you have not shared the details, we know that our Heavenly Father knows them fully and loves you deeply.

We are reminded that you, Lord, search us and know us. Psalm 139:1-4 tells us that you know when we sit down and when we rise up, you perceive our thoughts from afar, and you are acquainted with all our ways. Even before a word is on our tongue, you know it completely. And Romans 8:26 comforts us that the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. So we take comfort that even unspoken prayers are heard and understood perfectly by you.

We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why that is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is only through His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we always come to God in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting in His finished work on the cross for our forgiveness and our access to grace. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and calling upon His name.

We join together now and lift up these four burdens to you.

Father in heaven, we come before your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ your Son. We lift up this dear one to you and we bring these four unspoken requests before you. You know each need, each fear, each hope, and each circumstance behind them. We ask that your will be done in each situation and that you would be glorified through the answers. We pray for your peace to guard this heart and mind, as Philippians 4:6-7 promises, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We ask that you provide wisdom, provision, healing, protection, and restoration according to what is needed in each request. Let this dear one feel your presence and know that you are working all things together for good for those who love you as Romans 8:28 teaches. Give strength to trust you even when the answers are not yet seen, and help this one to cast all anxiety on you because you care for us as 1 Peter 5:7 says.

We pray that you will increase faith and draw this dear one closer to you through these trials. We ask that you answer in your perfect timing and in your perfect way, and that you would give a clear testimony of your goodness. We trust you with these unspoken matters, knowing that 1 John 5:14 assures us that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us.

We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayer in Jesus name, and we continue to stand in agreement for your best in each of these four requests. Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with these four unspoken requests. We don't need the details to care about them or to bring them faithfully before the Lord.

We know carrying unspoken burdens can feel lonely, as if you have to hold them alone because you cannot quite put them into words or are not ready to. Please hear that you do not have to. God already knows each one fully, even the parts that feel tangled or heavy, and it is a privilege for us to stand with you and lift them with you.

If it helps in the days ahead, you might find a quiet moment to simply hold each request before God as it is, without needing to explain or find the right words. And know that we are doing the same here, remembering you and these four needs before Him even while they remain unspoken to us.

Father, we bring our friend to You now and place these four requests in Your hands. You see what we cannot see and know each need intimately. Grant peace in the waiting, wisdom for each decision, and the comfort of Your presence day by day. Help our friend to feel supported and not alone, and to trust You with what is still unresolved. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We have heard your request and we bring your four unspoken petitions before the throne of grace, to the God of peace who knows what you cannot or would not utter aloud.

He is the God of peace who created peace originally and pronounced all very good, the God of peace who restores peace when sin has broken it, who preserves peace when it is made, and who will perfect and consummate peace at last through the blood of the everlasting covenant. There is no need too hidden and no burden too heavy for Him, for He searches the heart and knows the mind of the Spirit.

We pray that you may first know that great peace with God which comes only by being justified by faith through our Lord Jesus Christ. By His sacrifice a covenant of peace is established and sealed with atoning blood, and being justified we have peace with God and access into the grace wherein we stand. Apart from Christ there is no true peace, but in Him there is a peace which passes all understanding and which is solid and abiding because it is founded on eternal truth and guaranteed by the God of holiness.

We ask the God of peace to keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, to give you that consequent peace in the little kingdom within, that perfect peace which comes from a mind stayed upon Him. Taste and see that the Lord is good. To know His will and to do it is to abide in His peace. Whether these four matters concern sorrow, need, guidance or waiting, may you find that on Jesus bosom nothing but calm is found, even while sorrows surge around.

We do not know the particulars as you do, but God has spoken in His holiness and we may rejoice that He has spoken in His Word. We pray that whatever is according to His will He will grant for your good and His glory, and whatever is not according to His will He will gently correct and make you holy, for the God of peace makes His people holy that they may do what is well pleasing in His sight. May He who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus sanctify you wholly and preserve you blameless.

Cast these four burdens upon Him and trust Him. Where He begins a work He completes it. If you trust the Son of God who poured out His life, your sins are gone and your peace is secured at headquarters, from the throne itself. Take Him at His word, and believe Him, for it is true humility to believe God.

May the God of peace be with you, may His peace rule in your heart today, and may you rejoice in hope of the glory of God which is yet to come. We commit you and each unspoken request to His wise and loving care, in the name of Jesus Christ our peace. Amen.
