Thank you for trusting us with these four unspoken requests. God knows each one completely even though they have not been spoken out to us, and you can rest in the confidence that He hears you when you bring them to Him.
Prayer is not needed to inform God, for He already knows what you need before you ask. Prayer is for your benefit, to bring you into closer trust and fellowship with Him. As you turn each care into prayer and cast your burdens on the Lord, His Spirit ministers comfort and assurance to your heart, and fear and anxiety are replaced with confidence that He will work according to what is best.
The greatest work God does in our lives is accomplished through prayer. There are faithful people praying day and night for the needs that are shared, and we are joining that prayer for you now, asking God to sustain you and to accomplish His perfect will in each of these four situations.
The purpose of prayer is not to get our own will done, but to see God's will done. God's will for you is always the very best that could happen, even when we do not understand it. So we pray with Jesus, nevertheless not what we will, but what You will, and we have confidence that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
True peace comes in two ways. First we must have peace with God, which is only possible through the blood of Jesus Christ shed for the forgiveness of our sins. Once we have peace with God through His grace, we can then know the peace of God in our hearts. That perfect peace is promised to the one whose mind is stayed on the Lord because He trusts in Him. When your mind dwells on the problems you lose sleep and strength, but when your mind stays on Him and you trust in the Lord who is everlasting strength, He will keep you in perfect peace that passes all understanding, even before you see the answer.
You may want help right now, and waiting is hard, but God has been your hope and trust from the beginning and He remains faithful. Even when you are afraid, you can choose to trust in Him and praise His word, remembering how He has delivered you in the past. He treasures you and values you as His own, and He takes pleasure in your complete trust in His wisdom.
We have not yet seen the victory in these matters, but we can move from petition to confidence to praise, thanking God in advance for what He will do. May the Lord hear your supplications and answer according to His faithfulness and righteousness, grant you wisdom, keep you usable for His purposes, and fill you with righteousness, peace and joy as you continue to commit all four requests into His hands.
