Thank you for trusting us with these four unspoken requests. Even though they are unspoken to us, they are fully known to God. He sees each need, each burden, and each detail behind them, and He invites you to bring them to Him in prayer.

The first and most important peace we need is peace with God. That peace is made possible only through Jesus Christ and the shedding of His blood for the forgiveness of sins. When we stop living in rebellion against Him and instead put our faith in Jesus and submit to His ways, the war between us and God ends. Because that peace rests on what Christ has done and not on our own good works, it remains secure even when we fail, because our justification is by faith.

Once we have peace with God, He offers us the peace of God for our daily lives. Scripture promises that God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. Jesus said to His disciples, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The apostle Paul speaks of a peace that passes all human understanding, a peace that guards our hearts and minds in Christ. The world cannot understand how a believer can be calm in the midst of chaos and turmoil, but that peace comes when we keep our eyes and thoughts fixed on the Lord rather than on our problems.

God desires for you to live in that peace and He Himself ordains it for His children. In everything, by prayer and supplication, we are called to make our requests known to God, and then His peace will keep us. Part of that is learning contentment in whatever circumstance we find ourselves, whether we have much or little, recognizing that our lives are in His hands. He is faithful to work in our situations, and even trials become opportunities to experience His love and grace afresh, which strengthens our hope. Remember that as His child, no weapon formed against you will prosper in the ultimate sense. He watches over you, He preserves you, and His overruling providence is at work even when we cannot see it. What is His work He will carry, so you do not need to stay awake in anxiety trying to carry it yourself.

God extends this offer of peace and healing to all, whether far from Him or near, through Jesus who is our peace. The wisdom that comes from above is peaceable, and those who sow peace reap a harvest of righteousness. For those who continue in rebellion against Him, Scripture says there is no peace, like a troubled sea. True and lasting peace within comes when we turn to Christ, receive forgiveness, and walk in His Spirit with our thoughts set on pleasing Him.

We are praying for your four requests now, asking that God would answer each one according to His perfect will and according to His Word. We ask that He would draw you closer to Himself, keep your mind stayed on Him, fill you with His peace that passes understanding, grant you wisdom from above for every decision, provide for every need, and help you to trust Him with what you cannot control. May you know His protection, His provision, and His presence, and may any area that needs to be brought into alignment with His will be made clear by His Spirit.

May the God of peace be with you and keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
