Prayers Please

We are lifting you up before the throne of grace today for your three unspoken requests and we thank you for trusting us to pray with you. Even though you have not shared the details, our Father in heaven knows them fully. Psalm 139:4 reminds us that there is not a word on our tongue but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether, and Matthew 6:8 tells us that your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. We take comfort in Romans 8:26 which says the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. So we can rest knowing that even unspoken burdens are perfectly understood by God.
We also want to gently encourage you about something we noticed, that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 teaches there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To pray in Jesus name is not just words at the end of a prayer, it is declaring our faith that Christ died for our sins and rose again and that by believing in Him we are reconciled to God. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not already placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today, and if you have, we encourage you to boldly come in His name.
We want to remind you of the promise in 1 John 5:14 that this is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And Philippians 4:6-7 urges us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We join together now and pray for you.
Father in heaven, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, your Son. We thank you that you know our brother or sister here and you know the three burdens on their heart that remain unspoken. You see every detail, every need, every fear and every hope. We ask that you would work in each of these three situations according to your perfect will and for your glory. Where there is need, provide. Where there is sickness, bring healing. Where there is confusion, bring wisdom. Where there is brokenness, bring restoration and peace. We pray that you would answer in a way that makes your power and love clearly known, and that you would give them faith to trust you even while they wait. Let your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Draw them closer to you through this time and help them to cast all their anxiety on you because you care for them. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Your three unspoken requests have been laid to heart and we count it a privilege to bear them before the throne of grace. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, and we will keep a guard of prayer around you day and night.
Though these matters are unspoken to us, they are fully known to Him who searches the heart. Calling upon God in the day of trouble brings honor to Him in the very act, for it is a truthful recognition that He is and that He hears, and honest speech with God is never despised. While you are waiting for an answer, remember that God has already spoken in His holiness. What mighty power your soul will have in prayer if you go to God and say, Do as You have said, for God has spoken, I will rejoice.
If any part of your burden is the burden of sin, we would have you fly away to Christ and stand in spirit beneath the Cross, and feel that under that crimson canopy no flash of divine penalty shall ever fall upon you. I would that you would look to the Son of God pouring out His life and would trust Him, for then your sins would be gone in a moment. Salvation is not by ceremonies or by the works of the law, for suppose we obeyed God without a single fault we should only have done what it was our duty to perform. It is true humility to take God at His word and to believe Him, trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ alone, in whom alone is salvation.
Therefore we pray for you that the Lord would deal with each of these three requests according to His perfect wisdom, holiness and love. We do not ask Him to grant what would lead away from His revealed will, but that He would grant what is according to His Word and withhold what is not for your good and His glory. We ask that He would deliver you in His own time and way, that He would quicken you in His way and turn your eyes from all that would ensnare you, and that you would find present peace and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. May you be kept trusting and not fearing, for those that have trusted in God find Him to be as real as if they could see Him.
We encourage you, as Jacob did, to be definite before the Lord, laying each matter plainly before Him, pleading His promises and reminding Him of His Word unto His servant, for prayer is nothing more than believingly remembering that God has promised a certain blessing and then reminding Him that He has promised it. We will continue to plead for you in this manner, that God would be exalted above all and that His mercy which is great unto the heavens would be your comfort and strength.
