Prayers please

Thank you for trusting us with these four unspoken requests. Even though you have not shared the details, God already knows each one completely, and He invites us to bring every need before Him.

We want you to know we are joining with you in prayer and agreeing together for God's will to be done in each of these situations. Jesus taught that when we agree together concerning anything we ask, the Father hears, and Scripture reminds us that the earnest, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. That power does not come from long or eloquent words, but from a sincere heart that looks to God in faith. Often the most real prayers are not even spoken out loud, but are lifted silently from the heart, and God hears those too.

Prayer is more than just asking for what we want. It begins with worship, recognizing who God is and coming to Him as Father through Jesus Christ, the one who alone has made a way for us to be forgiven and brought into His family and who even now lives to intercede for us. From that place of relationship we bring our petitions, our personal needs for wisdom, strength, guidance and help, and then we move beyond ourselves into intercession, bringing the needs of others before the Lord. No prayer is complete without that reaching beyond ourselves, and it is a privilege to stand in that place for you.

We also take comfort that prayer is not limited by place or circumstance. Whether we are near or far, God hears, and He can work in every situation as we seek Him. Our desire in praying for your four requests is not simply that our wishes would be fulfilled, but that His kingdom and His will would be accomplished in your life, because His will is good and His faithfulness endures. Difficulties often drive us to our knees, and God uses those seasons to bring assurance and comfort as His Spirit ministers to our hearts while we pray.

We are lifting each of your unspoken requests before the Lord now, asking Him to meet you according to His wisdom and love, to provide what you need, to grant peace and guidance, and to be glorified through the answers He gives. May you sense His presence and His care as you continue to seek Him, and may you be encouraged to keep bringing every burden to Him in prayer.
