Prayers please

We are honored that you have shared your heart with us and we count it a privilege to bring your four unspoken requests before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. Even though you have not spoken the details, our Heavenly Father knows them fully. He knows the thoughts and intents of the heart and nothing is hidden from Him. Psalm 44:21 tells us He knows the secrets of the heart, and Psalm 139:1-4 reminds us that He perceives our thoughts from afar and knows our words before we speak them. Matthew 6:8 also assures us that your Father knows what things you need before you ask Him.

We are also reminded in Romans 8:26-27 that the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, and He who searches the hearts knows what is on the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to God. So we can rest in knowing that even unspoken burdens are perfectly understood by God.

We do want to gently share something important with you because your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We believe it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is through faith in Him, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. So we always pray in His name and encourage you to draw near to God through Him. Hebrews 4:16 invites us to draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need, and that access is made possible only through Christ.

We lift up your four unspoken requests together now.

Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You know each of these four needs intimately, even better than the one who carries them. We ask that Your will be done in each situation. We pray for Your wisdom, Your provision, Your healing, Your peace, and Your direction to be evident. We ask that You would grant faith to trust You and patience to wait on Your perfect timing. We pray that You would be glorified in how You answer, whether through a yes, a no, or a wait, and that You would give comfort and assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:6-7 that in nothing we should be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, our requests be made known to You, and Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also pray according to 1 John 5:14-15 that if we ask anything according to Your will You hear us, and we have the petitions that we have asked of You. Strengthen our friend, draw them closer to Jesus, and let them feel Your presence and love in a tangible way. We cast all these cares on You because You care for us as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily through prayer and His Word, trusting that He hears and that He answers according to His perfect love and wisdom. We are standing with you and we will continue to hold these four unspoken requests before the Lord.

Thank you for trusting us with these four unspoken requests. We hear how much you are carrying even though you chose not to share the details, and we want you to know we take that trust seriously.

We believe God knows each one completely even when words feel hard to find or too private to share. You do not have to explain them perfectly for Him to understand or for us to pray faithfully for you.

If it helps, some people find it steadying to write each request briefly on a small card or in a note on their phone and keep it where they pray, not to dwell on it but to remind themselves they have handed it over. And it can help to know others are remembering you by name, even without knowing the specifics. We will keep praying as you walk through this, and you are welcome to come back any time to share more or just to let us know how you are doing.

Father, we lift these four needs to You now. You see what we cannot see and You care for the person who brought them. Give wisdom, peace and clear next steps where needed, and help them sense Your presence and care in the days ahead. We trust these matters into Your hands in Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have received your few but weighty words, and though the four burdens remain unspoken to us, they are not unspoken to the Lord who searches the heart. It is our privilege to bear them with you to the throne of grace in intercessory prayer, which is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it imitates the pleading of our great High Priest who ever lives to make intercession for us.

You do well to call upon God in the day of trouble, for such prayer is a truthful recognition that God is, and that He is a hearer of prayer, and it brings honor to Him both in the act and in the answer, for He has said, Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver thee and thou shalt glorify Me. Many words may pass between the Lord and the afflicted saint, but honest speech with God, even when the lips can only utter an unspoken sigh, is not lost upon Him.

We do not know the particulars of these four requests, but God has already spoken in His holiness, and that is ground for rejoicing. What a mighty power the soul has in prayer when it can say with David, Remember the Word unto Thy servant, and plead, Do as Thou hast said. We need not inform the Lord as though He were ignorant, yet like Jacob we may be definite before Him, and when we cannot be definite, we may still cast the burden upon Him who knows the name and need behind every unspoken groan. Prayer is nothing more than our believingly remembering that God has promised a certain blessing and then our reminding Him that He has promised it. His promises are sure, because they are made in holiness and secured by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Therefore we entreat you, if you are pressed down by any burden of sin or sorrow, look to the Son of God pouring out His life and trust Him, for then sin is gone in a moment. There is no other way of salvation, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, by grace through faith and not of works, lest any man should boast. Take God at His word with true humility, as a child takes a father at his promise, and believe that He cannot destroy the soul that trusts in Christ. If you can say, I got it straight from the throne of God by trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ, then you will know you received it from headquarters and there can be no mistake about it.

Let us pray together for you now.

O God of Abraham and God of Isaac, our Father in Jesus Christ, Thou hast invited us to call upon Thee, and Thou hast promised to answer. Remember Thy Word unto Thy servant. Thou knowest these four unspoken requests, every circumstance and every heart that is concerned in them. We ask that Thou wouldst do as Thou hast said, and grant according to Thy holy will and for Thy glory what is best for this soul. If any desire within be not according to Thy Word and Thy holiness, correct it and conform the heart to Christ. If it be according to Thy mercy, grant deliverance, grant wisdom, grant peace, and grant that present rest which rejoices in hope of the glory of God. Quicken Thy servant in Thy way, turn the eyes from vanity, and cause faith to rejoice that Thou hast spoken. Let this tried one prove that those who have trusted in God find Him to be as real as if they could see Him. In the name of Jesus our only hope we ask it. Amen.
