Prayers Please
We join with you in bringing your four unspoken requests before our heavenly Father, and we thank you for trusting us to pray with you. Though these requests are unspoken to us, they are fully known to God who searches every heart.
We are reminded that the Lord knows our thoughts and needs before we even speak them, as it is written Psalm 139:1-4, Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. And we take comfort that when we do not have words, the Spirit Himself intercedes for us, for Rom 8:26 says the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Scripture also says Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for Rom 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray with confidence, because 1 John 5:14 tells us that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
So together we bring these four burdens to the throne of grace.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. You know each of these four unspoken requests in every detail, every fear, every hope and every need. We ask that Your will be done in each situation and that You would grant wisdom, provision, healing and peace according to Your perfect love. We pray that You would answer in a way that draws this heart closer to You and brings glory to Your name. We ask for Your peace which surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as You have promised in Phil 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Help our friend to cast all anxiety on You because You care for them, and to trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. Give strength to wait upon You and faith to believe that You hear and You answer. We pray all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring every need to God in Jesus name, trusting that He hears and that He loves you deeply. Keep seeking Him in His Word and in prayer, for Jer 33:3 says Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don’t know. We are standing with you and we thank God that we can seek His will together.

We have brought your four unspoken requests before the throne of grace, where the living God hears even what the lips have not uttered. He who made heaven and earth and sustains all things by the power of His almighty arms is not a dead force nor a distant name, but the living God, a thinking, active, personal God with a great warm loving heart, who comes into the midst of this world and works on behalf of His people. What you cannot speak aloud is fully known to Him, and that is our comfort.
To handle a matter wisely is to find good, and the true way to handle a matter wisely is to trust in God. We are not to be idle, as though we trusted in God while we neglect the duties He has given us, nor to be rash and impudent as though we trusted to chance. We are to act in all prudence and in all uprightness, and then to rely simply and entirely upon Him. Having done what your hand finds to do with economy and order, leave the burden and the outcome with your Father. He is able to keep that which you commit to Him.
He is the God of peace. He created peace originally when He pronounced His creation very good, He restores peace through the blood of the everlasting covenant, He preserves peace when it is made, and He shall perfect and consummate it at last. There is a false peace which comes from forgetting God, but that peace is only writing upon the sand. The peace of God is solid and abiding, founded upon eternal truth and sealed by atoning blood. First it is peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, who loved peace, preached peace, lived in peace, died in peace and now dwells in peace before the throne. Then it is a consequent peace in the little kingdom within, a peace which passes all understanding, keeping heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
Therefore taste and see that the Lord is good. If you are His child through faith in Jesus Christ, ought you not to be at peace? If your Father rules all things for your good, you may leave your wandering cares, your household, your future and these four hidden burdens with Jesus, who is present everywhere.
We bear your burdens with you in prayer, as we are taught to bear one another's burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ, remembering that every man must also come himself with his own sin to his own Saviour and by his own act of faith find peace through His blood.
Let us pray together. Great God of Peace, You have given us this peace in remembrance of Your covenant mercy. You know the four requests which Your child lays before You without words. You have spoken in Your holiness that You will save all who trust in Jesus Christ Your Son. We trust in the living God. Grant according to Your wisdom, give comfort where comfort is needed, give joy and peace in believing where the heart is troubled, keep from sinful means and guide into that which is well pleasing in Your sight. Make holy by Your Spirit, and let the peace of God which passes all understanding guard heart and mind until that day when You shall perfect peace forever. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Peace, Amen.
